Ok, hear me out; I think this might be Lacuna’s pup. Out of all the green-nosed pups, this was the one I felt I could draw the best conclusions from. …I am just now realizing as I write this that the dot over the eye might just be an eyebrow and not an extra eye when the pup having multiple sets of eyes was what made me think of this in the first place, plus I was looking at the actual eye wrong and it looked way more arachnid-like than it actually was. But bear with me
I don’t think the frog hints are in reference to the dog itself being based on a frog, but rather to the mutualistic relationship between frogs and certain tarantula species in the Amazon; the frog protects the tarantula’s eggs, and the tarantula keeps the frog safe from other predators. This guy certainly has spider-like traits (or at least I thought so, 50/50 chance I was looking at it wrong), and it would definitely align with the ‘smaller than a breadbox’ hint. What it has in common with Lacuna’s first staff pup may either be the inspiration from an actual animal, or the fact it may grow into a PPS since, you know, spiders are small (Lacuna hasn’t had any PPS staff pups since her first)
