✎✎ Customs Rules & Info ✎✎

* All customs must abide by CS rules

* Customs cannot be made of trademarked characters, characters you don't own, or transfers of UMAs who haven't given permission

* If you are transferring a character into a Lumplen from another closed-species, you must have proof of permission to do so

* An artist can turn down a custom request for any reason, or no reason at all

* You may not reserve a post in the form to post your requests on. Posts must be made after the artist announces openings, using that artist's specific requirements and following their rules.

* If an artist opens up USD customs, payments must be made upfront

* USD customs do not require the person to also own a feather/customs item

* ONLY USD customs can be traded for USD (at the same rate in which they were bought at maximum). See additional rules on the trading thread.

* You cannot post for customs on the thread unless an artist has open slots.

Standard Customs

A Standard Custom consists of an unchanged Lumplen base (as seen below). It may have a simple tail design that would be commonly seen on a feline or canine. Those are the only changes to the base that can be made. Fetti is a good example of a Standard Custom.

Recolor Customs

A recolor custom would be any request for a design to be made on a line-set that already exists. There will eventually be a line archive where you can see the available options. Some artists may list their own lines in their customs post. Recolor customs CANNOT have edits made to the line unless the artist EXPRESSLY states that edits can be made. Do not ask for line edits unless the artist states otherwise.

Odd Customs

An Odd Custom is anything that makes edits to the base Lumplen lines and isn't made on an already existing line-set. Often Odd Customs are fully unique. They must follow all customs rules. You cannot ask for an odd custom to look like an already existing Lumplen that someone else owns.

As our gift to you, whenever it's your birthday, you're eligible for a free birthday Lumplen!

How does this work?
You make a post during your birthday month, filling out the specifications of your birthday Lumplen. When our staff has time, we will get around to making the birthday Lumplens and post them here! Should you want a notification of when yours is done, you can join our Discord!

General rules!

1. Your account must be at least 2 months old to be eligible for a birthday Lumplen
2. No sharing your age or the year you were born in your posts!
3. Don't lie about your birthday! While we can't fully fact check this, first, it's not cool, but second if you are found out you will receive a strike or a ban depending on the circumstances.
4. Birthday Lumplens cannot be traded away, only gifted!
5. You must fill out all relevant info on the birthday form correctly in order to receive your bday Lumplen!
6. Once submitted, you may not edit or void your birthday form without checking with staff to ensure your birthday Lumplen isn't already in progress or finished.
7. You can ask for simple gradients as part of your color scheme/base, but any large edits or complex designs asked for will not be adhered to.

Extra Info!

1. You can have up to one of each category on your Lumplen. This means you could choose to have nothing in a particular category, or multiple categories! (Minus the base Lumplen)
2. As mentioned above, you may post for your birthday anytime during your birthday month. Aka if it's October and you're born on October 20th, you could post for your Lumplen as soon as October 1st.
3. Since the UMA was started August, we're giving August birthdays a chance to post for their bday Lumplen during the month of September, too.
4. Should your birthday roll around a 2nd time, you can claim another Lumplen! Basically you can claim one once a year
5. If you don't wish to disclose the exact date of your birthday, you may just put the month instead
6. To celebrate those returning to us from V.1 - You can claim a bday Lumplen regardless of your birthday in appreciation of you being here (through Jan 1st, 2025) (must include a link to your V.1 Co-op on your post, alongside your current co-op, to claim one)

♥♥ Breedings Rules & Info ♥♥

* Any breeding will guarantee between 2-4 Lumplens as a result of a random roll. If there are two parties involved in the breeding (as in two different owners) it will always be 2 or 4, never 3.

* There is no limit on how many times a given Lumplen can breed, but any given Lumplen has a 1 week cooldown between their breeding results being posted and when they can breed again.

* You may only have one active, free breeding ongoing at any given time. This means if an artist accepted your pairing a week ago and a different artist opens breeding slots, you cannot post for them or have any of your Lumplens be posted by others for them.

* You must have proof of permission if you post a breeding with someone else's Lumplen as one of the parents.

* A Lumplen may not breed within their own litter or with their own offspring.

* Please be mindful of any artist's specific rules for their breedings, per opening.

* V.1 Lumplens currently can only be bred as Unique Breedings, unless their lines are up-to-date. This is per artist discretion and not all breeding opening may include V.1 options.

* Gen 2s may breed with Gen 1s as long as it's not their parent Lumplen or the lines of their parent Lumplen

* Gen 3s may not breed

Standard Breeding


A Standard Breeding will have no unique line edits for the offspring. Instead, the lines of the parents will be used for the offspring, but new designs will be made on those bases.

Unique Breeding


A Unique Breeding will merge the concepts of the two parents both in line and designs for the offspring.
