v what book genre do you like/read the most?

Xenofiction is my all time favorite genre, probably always will be. I specifically like xenofiction taking place through the eyes of animals on earth, or animals in a fantasy setting. It was always so much more engaging to me than stories revolving around normal humans. I think it was just because I am a sucker for animals and escapism

When I'm feeling particularly stressed, I quite enjoy taking a nice warm bath to destress myself. And maybe listen to some nice music or read a book while I'm at it.

v Give some favourite album covers -- what do you like about them?

rules by alex g, the painting is melancholic and mesmerising, and i believe it was done by his mother or another female relative which i find very sweet... also, his sister rachel does most of his other album covers and you can really see the older relative's influence on her own style, so much so that i thought the rules cover was done by rachel as well. i really like the comforts of madness by pale saints as well.. it's a cute little kitty :) i'm looking through my music library to see if there's more but idek.. i feel with most album covers i can appreciate the design and their importance to the album's narrative/identity but i wouldn't necessarily take a personal liking to them ykwim

One of my most obscure interests is the way rollercoasters work/all the weird terminology for it. Yknow, the way the restraints work, how the cart itself works, different seat types, restraint types, wooden vs steel, track types, etc. There's genuinely a small online community for it and everything. My favorite term from it is "stapling", which occurs when a lap bar restraint tightens slightly more than you adjust it to, resulting in you being sort of pinched against the seat. I just think its a funny term for it. Also, the way hydraulic restraints work is super interesting, but I can't explain it real well and it would take a lot of words haha.

Not quite recently, but like a few months ago I listened to Bohemian Rhapsody and thought it was a pretty good song. I looked up more song from the band, Queen, and found out I loved it! My personal fave is either one of these five (too hard to narrow down): Keep Yourself Alive, Killer Queen, I’m Going Slightly Mad, Bohemian Rhapsody, or Don’t Stop Me Now. I think their songs are great, and I wanna own a vinyl album by them one day.
