Okay I just had to come in and say that Codex blew it out of the park with this month's item set!! So grateful I saved up enough to get tons of sets!! Not only are the pieces absolutely beautiful (the stained glass window absolutely has my heart, as do so many other pieces), but the shelving pieces, tables, and backgrounds are such great utility pieces for so many other dressups!! I've been dying for some more shelves that are more neutral and these are perfect! I cant wait to do some dressups with these!

Also, I'm so excited to see the second gen draft horses grow up! What an exciting pairing!!

Lots to be excited about and look forward to this month, thank you to all the staff involved for bringing so much joy!!

I always feel tempted and WANT to do indoor dressups, but for me I'm not nearly as creative as some people to build up to make what I want and I find there aren't enough items to get what I'd like. I feel like this set though gives us so much to work with and I can't wait to try again and do something fun with these!

Initial thoughts & predictions for September


Yayy the staff litter! I was a little disappointed at the color scheme but then I realized that they will be green-centric (hopefully) and that's my favorite color so now I'm super excited. I can't wait to see what all the staff has in store <3


Oooh the highlights look really cool. The yellow tail and mane have me interested.


Zebra stripes? Tropical fish?? Very vibrant for sure, they have my attention!


Kind of looks like leaves blowing in the wind? It could be a really nice Autumn litter!


Yep I thought the same as everyone else: 2016 sketch horses! Im excited to see what is done with the ink.


I really love that draft horse. Im excited to see when the flowers show up! Also i really like the art work for the parents lol.


Ahhh I'm so excited for these! Although last time I was pleasantly surprised by the dragons, I'm hoping for chickens because it's been a while and I love chickens. I love the berries(?) and the Autumn color scheme.


Yippeee otters! I love floral/vine patterns so I'm looking forward to watching them grow.

Also side note- I don't like items which is unfortunate for me because the new item set is breathtaking. I can't wait to see some of the dressups people make with them!

YAY OTTERS!! i think these are some of the first ones i'm gonna have and I LOVE THEMM THEY'RE SO CUTE

admittedly i'm not the biggest fan of rats but i'm really loving the design for these ones!! kinda reminds me of that one sketchy horse litter tbh (edit: just saw someone mention that too, funny how we were thinking the same thing lol)

mentioned it before but this is the first time i'm actually here to see staff litter pets grow! already the colors are so pretty :0

Wanted to chime in with everyone else to say how gorgeous the item set is this month. The big stained glass window is an absolute work of art. I was also blown away by the large vanity; the wood texture is really pleasing to the eye.
