Kane listened to the plan which had gone completely over his head originally, but he quickly took it in as Labrador explained. Next thing he knew, Labrador was already heading over and charging down one of the goats. Kane snapped into focus, he will indeed try his best. For the hunt. For the pack. For Labrador.

He quickly zipped his small frame over and rushed over too Lab’s pinned down goat, delivering the final strike with a swift bite. The adrenaline rushed through him, the success of a kill always thrilled a hunter, especially large game. He looked up at Labrador as he released his jaw from the goat, his tail wagging.

“We did it! Finally, we will be able to feed the pack and everyone will be full” he cheered, glancing over to see that Castor had also caught one too. He sighed in relief and walked over to Labrador. This amount of food will feed the pack for days. Without another thought, Kane pressed his head into Labrador’s thick, white chest fur.
“Thank you, Lab. For being an amazing hunting partner” he spoke, his voice muffled slightly in Labradors warm coat.

Ridge watched patiently especially since she smelled a faint taste of goats blood in the air, she whined uncharacteristically but huffed immediately to cover it up as she stared to where the hunters were last seen. Surprisingly enough she hadn't touched the rabbit since she could tell the other warrior was already irritated, didn't need the potential snitch to have anything else to spill.

The young wolf followed the hunters back to the pack, She traced the trail of crimson that leaked behind them. They must have done some type of damage to the animal in order to cause it to drip like this. Her nose was just shy of touching the red substance, the strong scent wasn’t something she would forget. Kiyu’s tail waved behind her as she trickled behind the hunters, until the reached the pack. A piercing howl filled the air to alert the others nearby of the food arriving. First, the pups and high ranks ate. Then the latter would follow suit to eat the scraps left behind. She lifted her head up at the sight of the other pups as they bounded towards the food.

A moment passed before Kiyu took off behind the others. “Don’t eat all the good stuff.” she playfully barked. She slid to a halt, coming within a few inches of Yomi, Kuroi, and Kairo. The satisfying aroma the deer left for them filled the nearby air. She joined Kuroi and took a few bites off the deer, ripping a few pieces off for herself. Between her chews she’d begin to speak, careful not to talk when she had a mouth full of food. “Want to go meet with my dad after this?” curiosity in her tone. What better time to meet him than now, right before she started to train? Kiyu took another bite and swallowed soon after.

Milo felt a small sense of pity for Blaze, it seemed that this she wolf was no easy work. He himself couldn’t really be bothered with the idea of love, at least not yet anyway. His ears flickered when Blaze spoke to him, explaining his situation. “I understand, the love life has to take a back seat for now. Just hear her out and let her know..” he shared. She wouldn’t like Blaze’s answers either way, but she’d have to understand or get over it.

Ears swiveled at the directional change of conversation, now focused on the pack’s history. Which might come into some form of importance later. “We will prevail.” he repeated after the lead fighter. Interested in what drove him into his current predicament. His gaze traced the invisible line that the wolves deemed as the separation between the two territories. “It’d take a miracle to get them away from here. Once a pack settles, that’s it.” he huffed.

Now Blaze sparked an interest in Milo, something he wasn’t sure even mattered. Milo lived a very simple life, unlike most of the wolves here. “Huh, no sob story or anything crazy.. Just a lone wolf traveling to find a place to call home.” he sighed. It hadn’t been long since his departure from the previous pack. A week at best. “The previous pack had nothing to offer other than starving and dying. No healers, no structure, no comfort. I’d be a fool to stay.” he let on. Milo briefly closed his eyes and took a slow, deep breath. The air around him clouded when he exhaled. “I need something challenging,” he truthfully answered.

A chuckle erupted from Milo, the thought of his previous pack or two. Neither of them felt like home to him. Often, the territory was bland and lacked the capacity to hold some structure. He bent the tip of his ear and looked at Blaze, “ Something about this pack is… Different.” he added. Careful with his words as not to upset the wolf beside him.

They walked over to her and began to get the fur off the rabbit. They did this for awhile, before all the fur was off of the rabbit. "Do you need me to rip off pieces of meat, or can you bite into this now?" he asked.

He chuckled and nodded as he looked at Chi. “Yeah…I guess she saw our camp and wandered in, then smelled or saw the food pile.” They then fell silent as she closed her eyes. They sat by to watch, and glanced towards Alex a moment, worried since she hadn’t answered.

The silvery and darker pup whimpered as the male called out…When the female stranger took a gentle tone, he was reminded of his mother. He whimpered quietly a bit. He came closer to the border, and now they could both see the pup, he really was just a pup.

The reddish looking and minimally darker male twitched and perked his ears. He watched as Ridge sat down, and he nodded to her. He wondered if she knew…That he was going to tell Blaze what she’d done, which of course he was going to. She’d gone off on her own, to do a job that wasn’t hers. That or she’d just wanted food to herself, which she should have waited until they’d gotten back to camp. He shook his head a couple times. If something had attacked while she’d been gone, wolves could’ve gotten hurt…

The smaller and slender white marked black phase wolf sighed a bit. They nodded as they looked at the two siblings a moment. They said “Mikage is right…maybe you should get checked out just in case.” They then looked to the pups, who had already started in on the food. They then glanced around a moment. They didn’t see Destiny or Dante there…so they worried a bit. Where had those two gotten off to? They shook their head, letting out a nervous yawn then sighing once more.

The slender and smaller golden-cream and white one watched the others. She sighed as they seemed to all be fine, and she stood up. She wagged her tail as Athena turned to her, and she said "Yes." She picked up the two rabbits, and began to head back for the camp. She paused a moment to look back at the four adult wolves. She watched three carry the elk, and Athena dragging the deer. She then turned back around, walking back to the camp and stopping at the pile. She dropped the rabbits neatly atop of the pile.

The smaller and slender golden pup twitched brown ears, and flicked his brown tipped tail. Brown and blue eyes glanced to the others. He sighed as Kiyu spoke her words. He said “Of course we won’t eat all the good parts…this is way too much food anyway.” He then glanced to Yomi, and offered a canine smile. “Hey, there’s Miracle, maybe…we should invite her to eat with us.” He suggested this because the other was close in age to them. She was twelve months, but that was close in age to them.

Although he was pretty well done healing, he was still sore, and a few winces could be seen every once in a while. "Dante has a plan of his own, all the time. It doesn't surprise me that he's busy." He says, laughing. His gaze lingers on Destiny before flicking away. He looks at Caspian instead. "How are you bearing the cold? The snow is awfully deep this year." He says, licking his chops thoughtfully as his ears swivel. He was dying to go hunt, but he couldn't, not with Scythe's orders of rest and both Dante and Destiny aware of his injuries. He would get into a lot of trouble. His ears perk when Destiny mentions needing to speak to him, his heart pounding once more. "Ah, of course, I would be pleased to speak with you after, Alpha.." He says, hoping it wasn't as awkward as he felt. He kept his gaze down and pawed the ground, huffing at the snow.

She said, taking the now skinned rabbit and settling down a littl bit further from them, tearing at the meat in small bites, savouring the taste as a crisp wind blew over her frail body. He looked at the leader's den there, he didn't know if they were still at the camp, as either of them was nowhere to be seen, and they were out of the hunt they could not know what happened during that time. Thought he didn't think that both the alpha and beta could leave the camp without telling, and their scents were still fresh "They may have a conversation going on there and are unaware of the prey being hunted?" he spoke up.

He left the others to wait for the high-ranking wolves to arrive so they could eat...that was to respect the high-ranking wolves, but then again how could they know if there was something going on and the high-ranking wolves didn't have time to eat now?

She sat there watching a pile of collected herbs in front of her. She kept her paw up to the herbs so they could not get away from the wind which was pushing forward. She looked up to the sky 'It's going to be a cold night, we need to collect more leaves and moss to make the dens warmer' she thought to herself as she took the herds to her mouth and started to walk back to camp.

There is so much food left that she can just come herself to eat...we don't have numerical orders in here..." she said to him as she kept taking bites of the deer. She looked as if any of the adults were not really eating "Or maybe they are respecting the high ranks and waiting for them to start eating before eating themselves" she said in wonder.

She ate some of the deer's leg as she liked it the most. She gave some space for the Kiyu to enter the prey as well "There is plenty of meat left, speaking of that there are two deers and rabbits..." she responded to her as she swallowed her bite to take another. She looked at the adult wolves for a moment, who were not eating yet, likely waiting for the high ranks to join them. She looked at Kiyu once again "Your father, you seriously think he could want to train me?" she said then sighed "It doesn't matter if he doesn't, I will find something else to train myself if that's the matter" she said.

He looked at Labrador and Kane to finish the other goat, then he looked around at the group of goats running away in the distance. He flicked his ears to listen to what Freya asked for him "...We will take those packs to the camp, if there are bears and cougars they will come to the goats eventually..." he said to her. He then stood up and looked to the hill where he knew the two warriors left to stay "Hey Ridge, why not be useful and take at least one of the goats back to camp?" he called out of the female warrior, which seemed to a little bit of annoying him for some reason.

He looked at Kane "Yes we did" he said to him then gave him a look "You made it heard like we're not being able to feed the pack for a long time" he said to him then looked around the mountain "The weather is coldening, the harder times are just coming...we better enjoy when we still can, as there will come those days when we ate nothing else than snow" he said. She listened to their voices even if she closed her eyes and prepared to sleep. Somehow the voice was gone from her head as she fell asleep. She had a dream, where she saw this male wolf, who she met a few times, but as soon as he was there he was gone, secondly, she saw likely her pups, but they were fainting away...she saw a figure of her pack at the distance looking at her, calling her, but as she tried to go to them, she could not move, she was freezer there and the pack, her pups and everyone was fainting an away...she felt freezing cold, there was white anywhere, and darkness coming forward under the whiteness with a high speed...covering everything.

Kane quietly listened to him as the fellow white furred hunter responded to him. His eyebrow raised slightly at the mentioning of ‘apprentice’. His head slowly raised his head until his eyes were locked with Labrador’s which is when he received a playful bop on the nose. He shook his head, quickly looking down and rubbing his muzzle with his paw. Letting out a small sneeze as some dust got in his nose.
“Apprentice?” He repeated, locking eyes with Labrador again, feeling his cheek heat up as he blushed under his bright white fur. ‘Why do I feel so embarrassed?’ He thought to himself, raising an eyebrow slightly at him.

He backed up and stood on the goat so he was almost as tall as Labrador.
“Listen here Mister, I am no one’s apprentice” he stated with a quiet chuckle,
“Even though you have taught me a lot of things over the seasons, improved me and helped me and been there for me in almost every hunt we’ve been on together, I’m…still no ones apprentice!” He confirmed, hesitating as his explanation didn’t help his argument.
“But…thank you again.” He said despite his sudden defensive monologue, his cheeks showing pink under his fur so obvious he had to look away.

In between the few chunks that Kiyu would take, she turned to engage with Kurt. "I'm confident that he would. I briefly mentioned it to him." she shared just before ripping off her last small piece of meat. Her maw devoured the remaining piece before her tongue lapped around her lips to clear off anything that remained. With her lack of care, the young wolf before her seemed to carry, she figured she'd give her a gentle nudge. "He will." was all that she said. "I'll talk to him after this and let you know his final answer." she cheered on. Now that she possessed a full belly, Kiyu backed away from the remaining pile of prey, making room for the adults to get in and eat.

While the other hunters discussed the higher ups, Athena figured she would go find one of them. Specifically their lead hunter, Cypher. She trotted away from the rest of them and followed the fresh scent that remained in their presence. A few moments later, Athena was staring down Cypher as he spoke with the Alpha and another wolf she wasn't familiar with. She slowly approached the group of wolves and when close enough to them, she dipped her head in their direction. "Good morning and I apologize for interrupting you all." she cleared her throat before she resumed her statement. "The hunters and I have gathered a meal for the pack. We will wait until you all have eaten, before we do." she dipped her head once more.

When the sound of a howl erupted the nearby Louie wandered over to the gathering area. Upon his arrival he accounted for all of the pups, all four of them. He listened in the best that he could to what Kiyu was saying about him, but decided not to stick around to hear the rest. Louie noted the meal that the others brought along and decided to go check in on a few wolves. He heaved a sigh and left the large group of wolves where they stood. On his way out of camp to check on Juniper, he spotted Scythe, the pack's great healer. "Good Morning Scythe. The pups are eating as the hunters just dropped breakfast." he shared with her. In effort to keep his promise to her of looking after their pups. "Did you need help with anything?" he asked.

When the she wolf said they should take him with them, he perked up a bit.
