Pretty hectic, I am also a foreign student having to go through university bureaucracy hell (luckily no visas for me b/c EU, unfortunately absolutely godawful everything because France), and I had a 2 week full-time volunteering position which I had to commute 5 1/2 hours both ways... then I moved abroad and spent 3 days running around doing errands for moving in stuff in 32c heat, I have finally been relaxing a bit this week -- I still have more university bureaucracy to sort out but it's literally impossible right now because everyone's on holiday, which I guess is nice -- but I still have to find a job lol. Oh well. C'est la vie I suppose.
^ Though I didn't have to go through it myself, I'm in a study abroad group chat where everyone else has to figure out visas and, yeah, it doesn't sound great. I've seen people sorting them out for months :')
> It is a neverending hell of 30c here. We had a good bit of rain one afternoon so I thought the temperature would drop but nope, right back up to 30. Apparently Sunday is going to be 25, which I thought was promising, but Monday (and the rest of the week) is 30 again. My mum kindly told me how lovely a cool it is where she is (20c) so that was... nice :squint:
v What was the last book you read, how did you find it?

I havent been reading a lot of books lately. My last proper read was dune. I was looking around the internet for something and found it was ranked high in sci-fi and people had good reviews of it, so I decided to give it a chance. I read it as an ebook. to be honest I found it a bit boring at first. It is one of those books you have to move past the first couple of chapters for to get interesting. Now it is one of my favorite reads! the author has a really unique writing style.

if I can't manage to find a job before I graduate, I will be unemployed (doomed) and I have no idea how I would cope with living costs // worrying about my future, unsure whether I should move overseas // lab reports and assignments and lectures I have to catch up on. Overall, enjoying life and having a nice day.
