At this point, I only knit, but I’d love to try my hand at a little bit of everything else!

I think I started knitting back in 2020 or 2021. Definitely not as long as some, but it has been a few years!
what is/are your current project[s]? I’m currently working on a scarf for my boss before she leaves her position. I bought some lovely green worsted yarn at the local yarn store and wanted to try something new, so I am doing a fun zigzag ribbing style

I love learning all kinds of crafts, but my favourites are knitting, crochet and cross-stitch

I first picked up a cross stitch kit at age 8ish iirc, but I got into knitting and crochet about 4 years ago now.

I have so many going all at once! My faves are:
- cross stitch of BTS' Jin
-knitted colourwork winter skirt
-interlocking filet crochet rug

Also I would like to get into embroidery, but I haven’t the slightest clue of where to start. Does anyone have any beginner friendly projects they’d be willing to share to give me some inspiration?

what's your preferred craft(s)?
I’m someone who enjoys having a million and 10 different hobbies, many of which I decide most of the time to either pick up on a whim and hyper-fixate on or I just don’t touch them for weeks , because I’m an artist outside of fiber arts I tend to additionally bounce between other mediums as well that don’t involve fiber art so it can sometimes be difficult to pick a preferred craft as it really depends on where my hyper-fixation is at or how burnt out I’m feeling at a particular given time. When it comes to specifically fiber arts as a medium, I generally prefer either quilting or embroidery; although when I was younger I did cross stitch and absolutely adored it!


how long have you been doing your fibre crafts?
I’ve been actively self teaching and began learning how to both quilt and embroider by hand in May of 2023.

what is/are your current project(s)?
I’m currently working on a hand made quilt with embroidery.


I think one thing, I’d definitely probably like to learn in my life time is how to crochet or knit, and I’ve attempted learning to knit a few times but my brain just can’t grasp the handle of it despite how hard I try. I just don’t think either fibre art and I are meant to vibe , but that’s alright I still have quilting, embroidery, and if those two fail I’ll revisit some cross stitching to get some childhood nostalgia.

how long have you been doing your fibrecrafts? It's hard to say because I stopped for a couple years or so before going back to it. I've a bag filled with dozens upon dozens of all the little animals and things I've created though, if that says anything. Haha.
