I just want to say I am sooo sooo happy with the snake pets! As soon as the theme revealed I was hoping for wild west snakes and was getting nervous we might not get any as we reached the end of the week

But they are here! and they are soso good! Not only gorgeous snakes but given so much character with the unique cacti and desert plants? I'm in love, thank you Doglike!!

I would argue the first is a blue roan splash because of the corn marks commonly seen on roans. as for the chestnut, a number of equine genetics can produce socks and stockings, there's not really a "high white" gene. the W20 gene is the most common gene that produces white markings aside from tobiano/overo/splash etc. it would simply be "chestnut."

and this would be a bay roan, red roans are chestnut roans and would not have dark mane/tail/legs.

Oooh I LOVE these guys! This one's my favorite of the litter <3

The bony armor is rad on them. I'd love to see what the lines look like under the skull too, with like the snout pointed up and those big jackaly ears
