im wondering, is there a trick to the shooting range? i can never get all of them and i cant spot a pattern.
is it pre determined or based on how you click it? or is it something else

It is completely random, there is nothing specific you need to do to win. The prize is determined as soon as you hit play so you can just skip the game by leaving or reloading the page if you don't want to play (if the timer resets then it gave you something) ^^

I would love to know if today's snakes are meant to represent particular real life snake and cactus species! I love them all so much

what I think they are so far:
orange & black snek: copperhead(?) + prickley pear (Opuntia)
brown snek: diamondback rattlesnake + saguaro
black snek & white flowers: rat snake(?) + yucca!
striped snek & tree: coral snake(?) + joshua tree (technically in the yucca genus too)
black snek & red flowers: arizona black rattlesnake + maybe a cholla(?)

(also a few days late but I love the pronghorn and lizards so much! I love real life animals getting some appreciation!)

The orange and black one looks like a western groundsnake or a sandsnake to me. the yucca snake is i think a coachwhip, it looks like it may be based on an eastern coachwhip.
