GD Beach Event Prompt Entry!
Entry: [Redacted] 1106 and Hoshiko 1149

These two adore each other's company and the beach has many a memory for them. While [Redacted] is partially water bound, and Hoshiko can swim, the pair find fun in racing each other along the shore to see who is faster: the swimmer or the runner. Most of the time, though, they take a leisurely pace to chat and whisper sweet nothings to each other.
[Redacted] laughs when the sun rises or sets as Hoshiko stands at the perfect angle to match the myriad of colors reflecting off of the water. Meanwhile Hoshiko has come to enjoy the beach most at night because they count the stars together and all is calm.
They've tried building a sandcastle before but it ended in disaster due to their massive tails. Maybe tomorrow they will go for a swim together. ^^

Twig spent their beach time walking around the beach and cooling down in the water. Twig also enjoyed making sandcastles. Twig would compare seashells and look for differences. Twig would also look at fish diving into the water. Twig watched the sunset rise as she galloped back to the fields.

GD Beach Event Prompt Entry!
Entry: Eleanor walked calmly along the beach and marveled at the seemingly endless sea. She had walked for days to get here and had only half believed the stories that she heard from others about it. There truly was an unbelievable vastness to the water and when she dipped her hoof in to taste it was distinctly salty. The sand was very unlike the mud and rocks she was used to surrounding her local creeks and ponds and she found herself slipping occasionally as the ground moved in unexpected ways. Then there were the waves, huge roaring things that looked like they would crash to the beach removing everything, but became only a small lapping movement by the time it reached the sand. She could hear the others in the distance looking for shells and they seemed unmoved by this. They had tried to tell her in words what the beach was like, but how could words possibly convey this world that was so different. Though she did watch her feet in case she saw any shells she regularly got distracted by the small things that existed on the beach.

Eleanor saw a large slimy looking plant that had washed up on the beach and cautiously nudged it with her muzzle, despite it's appearance it was quite course and she jumped back a tad. However it was clearly a plant and so she wanted to know what it tasted like. Carefully nibbling a little bit she discovered it was quite salty, but with a fishy taste as well. Fascinating.
