hello i am struggling to knock down more then 2 bottles during the game and it says that if you get a real bullseye you get an extra surprise, but ive been playing for the last couple days and dont get it. could someone clarify what is suppose to mean along with is it just chance at what bottles fall? i know its not suppose to be easy but every hour i try and to no avail...

Okay, I asked Nick: the result of the saloon game is determined as soon as you click play, and if RNG chooses for you to get a pet then you will get the graphic where you knock down a bottle with every shot. That way you can’t “rig” the game if you close the tab or refresh on purpose, or lose out by accident. If you think that you knocked down fewer and got a pet or 5 and didn’t get a pet you may have misremembered!

Whether or not the bottle is knocked down is determined by random chance - getting 5/5 knocked down is the rarer outcome, which results in getting one one of the root beer pets. The exact chances have not been released, but it is much more uncommon to get 5/5!

in the root beer salon page, while trying to reload the page i accidentally clicked the play again button then reloaded the page, and it says i have to wait another 60 minutes but i didnt receive an item or pet. is there any way to fix this or did i just mess up and have to just wait another hour for this?

I had had the same concern a few days ago, but don't worry, you definitely still got an item/pet!! This is the response I got when I asked a similar question c:

If the timer reset itself then you were definitely given an item.

If you knew your token totals beforehand, check on them now and you should see you have one extra. If you're worried about this happening again, keep an eye on the amount of tokens you have and if you get the error message again, you will know what your totals were previously so you can compare.

The game is unable to reset without giving you anything, so even if you did not see it, you will have received something. ^^

And Ashki was right, I actually had obtained the root beer pup :D

I’m aware the minigame is RNG based, but I was curious if your win is decided the moment you click on play, or if it’s just 50/50 every time you click on a bottle? Like, does it actually matter which bottle you choose or is it already made up how many of the bottles you’ll hit regardless of which one you choose?

Nick has confirmed its determined when you hit play. This is so if someone tried to intentionally close out when they start to 'lose' or if the game doesn't play for whatever reason, you will still receive the prize you would have anyway. So no it doesn't matter which bottles you hit ^^

Do you need to knock down all 5 shots to get one of the pets? Or can you get them if you knock down only one too? I'm so lost and it's impossible for me to get all 5 shots.. q.q
