have we figured out if there's any rhyme or reason to the saloon game prizes, or is it 100% randomized?

Just to fully confirm for the people still confused -

The soda game prizes at the saloon *are entirely random*. What you get has *nothing* to do with how many bottles you do (or don't) knock down. Not only would it be hugely unfair if they did that, and a departure from past years hourly 'pile' tokens, but also I can prove it myself.

Because (a) I have *never* been able to knock down more than 3 bottles so far, and yet
(b) I *have* gotten one of the pets (the soda, not the dog so far), and
(c) when I got the soda pet - I knocked over *0 out of 5* bottles on that round. (yeah that was a baaaad round lol)

So that absolutely proves you can and will get pets even if you don't knock down a single bottle/can.

Please do not stress over the extremely bad wording/choice to link the hourly 'pile' tokens to a mini-game this year.

I clicked “play game” and then accidentally clicked off the page and I still got this pet. So I can confirm that you don’t even have to play the game to get a pet!! I don’t even think the game influences what you get, to be honest.

I really like today’s pets!! I’m kind of sad there’s only one pronghorn and two lizards tho :/ no PPS pronghorn :( and two lizards doesn’t seem like very much, aren’t there like hundreds of lizard species. Not to be mean to the artists, I really like the pets and the hard work you do!! I’m just disappointed.
