I know its already been confirmed by other staff in other areas but just wanted to drop in here as well and say that the mini-game is entirely luck-based. There is nothing specific you need to do to get certain prizes. All the summer event mini-games operate on random chance so everyone has an equal chance of getting everything. Given that the site is aimed towards kids (and a lot of people play on mobile) requiring some level of skill/precision would put a decent amount of players at a major disadvantage, which we don't want to do.

I'm not involved in the specifics of the mini-game so I can't say for certain if there are specific prizes tied to certain outcomes, but just from what I've seen of past events I would not be surprised if they are (it would of course still be random chance regardless). Our past summer event mini-games have had certain prizes tied to certain outcomes before. For example, in the past the racing mini-games had a better prize if you won than if you got 2nd or 3rd (you got a pet for getting 1st place, or a few items from a set if you got 2nd or 3rd)

It is possible that certain prizes are tied to certain outcomes (i.e. 5 bottles must be hit to receive a pet) but that has not been confirmed. However, whether or not a bottle falls is random!

My banner count is at 137. Having timers really helps a lot!

I've only done it 3 times so far, but I've gotten one of each, so crossing my fingers that the next two are the pets lol!

Dang, you're doing really well so far, mine is only at 98 and that's mostly from timers. I will say, though, that I'm trying to pace myself this year and wait for when the banner pets launch. Last year I did too many banners too quickly, and it really stressed me out trying to get all the banner pets in time. Had to overpay for a couple of them at one point haha!

I’m really hoping they raise the banner limit quickly because it seems like a lot of people have high counts (90+) I’ve seen a crazy amount of tokens this year I think a lot of people are doing timers

Same here. Typically I'm paced by my job - I can do banners on my phone, but for obvious reasons I can't check it as often so if I hit the limit it's usually at the very end... but it's the type of work where things get really calm during the summer, so I might hit the limit much sooner than usual.

I've gotten the root beer cup pet after a perfect five. But I got five again and got a token, so I'm happy either way. All my other shots have been like: four, two, two.

It seems like you do knock over 5/5 bottles/cans to get a pet. I just got my first pet, the cup, and it was on a 5/5 hit rate ^.^

HOWEVER whether you hit 5 or less is completely random and not based on skill, strategy or anything else.
