Chai emerged from the shadows as new customer entered the shop, a friendly smile hitting her face.”Welcome in! What can I get you today?” she chirped.

She listened to what the customer was interested in with an attentive gaze. “oh I know exactly what you’d like!” she called as she turned and headed behind the barrista station.

After fiddling with the coffee machine and a few other things she returns with a tall glass containing a layered brown, yellow, and white drink. ”This is what I like to call Chai’s Eaden Latte” she said as she presented the drink.

“It’s an Eaden Buttercup espresso latte. A triple layered drink containing espresso on the bottom, an Eaden buttercup tea layer in the middle, and cold foam on the top.” she explained as she pointed to the layers. ”On top of the cold foam is a drizzle of honey, shaped like a flower of course. And a dried sprig of Eaden buttercup sticking out of the top!” she finished with a proud smile. “Enjoy!”

"You said you wanted something earthy, floral, especially in the form of coffee, right?" came the bartender's voice, an eyebrow raised curiously. "Well, boy do I have the drink for you!"

In a rush he sets a cup of iced coffee in front of the customer, grinning from ear to ear like he just presented the best concoction in all of Eaden. It smells rather... interesting, to say the least, with the ice and what looks like... oil?!

"You see, this is *olive oil and buttercup iced coffee," he goes on to explain, completely unaware of the stares he's starting to receive. "It's good for your health, uses only the finest ingredients in Eaden, and with that kick of caffeine, you'll be set for the rest of the day!"

Drink name: bonebloom brew
Drink description/entry : A werm behind the counter slides you a tall glass of dark green liquid. You peer over the top of the glass and notice blue flowers floating on the surface. You push the glass away a bit, looking through the side to see that, at the bottom there's what looks to be a large bone ? The same blue flowers are attached to it and you raise a brow at the werm who served it to you.
"What is this ?"

The werm across the way smirks slightly.
"I like to call it bonebloom brew."

You lean forward and take a whiff of the drink as best you can.
"What's in it ?"

The werm crosses his arms on the counter.
"Well it's mostly green tea, and of course the bonebloom, and oh !"
He seems surprised for a moment and turns around to grab something off the shelf behind him.
It's a large bottle of something dark.
"Nearly forgot the coffee."
He says and pops open the bottle, pouring a generous amount into the glass. He slides the glass back over to you and winks before moving to assist someone else.
"Enjoy."

You watch as the werm walks away, and turn back to the concoction in front of you.
"Well.. I won't know till' I try it."
You bring the glass to your mouth slowly, inhaling the scent of the bonebloom before the flavor washes over you.
You feel immediately energized at the taste, it's enchanting.
Although..maybe that werm didn't tell you all of what was in that drink, you think as you feel power surging through you. You look around and sure enough, the werm who served you is gone.

Drink description/entry: For this drink, Ophelia has cleaned out an old shampoo bottle (relic) and brewed a batch of Cotta's special Eaden tea, made from Eaden Buttercups, Dustflower petals, and homegrown herbs & spices to mix with equal parts of Veil's dark roasted coffee blend, and finished with fresh steamed milk. It is served with a side of clover honey for a touch of sweetness, at the customer's discretion.

Drink name: Twist-T
Drink description/entry : The top half of the newly-blended drink is a warm beige color, and a careful sniff reveals that it smells like milk tea (milk with a tea bag) that has been boiled and cooled. A dark, brown-green liquid made from brewed Eaden plants (tea) lies below the upper layer. The finishing touches are: one scoop of chewy pearls (boba) that sit at the bottom of the tea, cinnamon sprinkled in a flower shape on top of the milk, and a cup of small Eaden nuts which rests near the glass. The scent of leaves can be sensed, and the drink isn't as sugary as it looks.

Woah! Rush hour nearly got me there, but I'm glad I could whip up a drink for ya! You seem like a werm looking for some novel drinks, so here's Twist-T, the tea with a twist! This milk & tea combination is quite popular with my friends on Earth, so why not give the Eaden edition a try? If you'd like, you can drink the two parts separately, or, as my pals do, mix it all up! Just beware not to inhale the pearls at the bottom - trust me, they taste better when chewed. Lookin' for crunchier things? No problemo; you can skip the pearls (or boba as the fancy ones call it) and bite into some Eaden nuts instead [irl note: the nuts are similar to the concept of coffee grounds & eating such grounds]! Drink name: Bitter Sweet
Drink description/entry : Bitter Sweet is a very simple drink at first glance, made of Coffee and Weeping Eyebells. Served in a white ceramic mug that could be found in any home, but upon further inspection, one will come to understand its very perplexing composition. This drink was not made to be popular or even taste good, instead, it was made only to capture a memory. The creator was never credited or known, but the creation story of this odd brew of coffee was.
It was said that on a very early morning in the empty lands of Eaden, there was a lovely floral scent mixed with coffee in the air coming from deep within The Gardens area. A curious Werm was brave enough to follow the source of this aroma, only to find a sleeping Wermling next to a campfire. It was clear that somewerm had set up a camp that previous night, cooked and cared for the Wermling, and was just here only moments ago. There were no clues as to who was watching over the Wermling, only a nameless Guild Jacket laid over the sleeping Wermling, and a pot of coffee on the fire with Weeping Eyebells bubbling in the water. The curious Werm stayed with the Wermling, hoping that whoever helped them would return for the Wermling, but nowerm came. The Wermling was much too young to form clear words or be left out here alone, so the curious Werm took them back to their own home with them, to raise them in their cafe and take care of them. Ever since that day, the curious Werm recreated a drink in their cafe of that very same coffee, in an attempt to capture that emotion that had lingered in the air that morning. Who were they? Why did they leave? Why did they never return? Why did they stay that night to protect the Wermling at all? Perhaps the curious Werm would never know, even if they found a new member of their family that day, the painful image of that morning and the decisions another Werm had to have made, always made that quiet morning memory Bitter Sweet.
