Willowstep - female - 28 moons - deputy - apprentice: Vulturepaw - tagged: Mountainstar, Rosedapple(mentioned), open
As Rosedapple hurried past on her way to check on the next cats, Willowstep sent her a friendly glance, amused at the molly's hurry. "Good morning Mountainstar," She mewed as she greeted her friend, studying her carefully for a moment. "Sleep well?" Rosedapple had surely asked about Mountainstar's sleep herself, but as Mountainstar was her closest companion, Willowstep worried, feeling the need the check on her as well. Mountainstar had endured a lot recently and Willowstep, wanted to give her as much support as she could. "Did you have any thoughts about today's patrols?" If Mountainstar wanted to send some of the apprentices for extra training, Willowstep would not assign them or their mentors on a patrol. That was occasionally known to happen, if an apprentice needed a little extra help, instead of patrols, the mentor and apprentice could train without the apprentice getting too tired from patrols. For her plans for the patrols, Willowstep also needed to know whether Mountainstar felt like joining a patrol with Mistpaw.
Cougarsight - male - 36 moons - warrior - tagged: Ivyscorch, open
Cougarsight looked up at the sound of Ivyscorch's greeting, his entire being seeming to brighten at her company. "Good morning," He replied, amusement flashing in his eyes as he added, "How did you sleep Ivyscorch? Did your kits keep you up all night?" The warrior tilted his head, his expression shifting from amusement to curiosity. To him, sharing a nest with several wiggly little kits sounded so odd and strange but maybe to Ivyscorch and the other queens it wasn't so weird? Perhaps it was similar to his memories spending nights with his parents. "Do you like being in the nursery with the queens and kits? It must feel so different compared to warrior duties." Cougarsight thought of the animals who lived in Peakclan's territory, prey and predators who didn't have the luxury of having a clan to protect them and their children.
Mistpaw - female - 7 moons - apprenticed to Mountainstar - tagged: Goosefeather, open
Mistpaw paused outside of the apprentices den, getting an idea of who was currently in the camp's main cave. Much of the clan seemed to be awake by now and the realization made Mistpaw's ears flatten anxiously. What kind of warrior would she be if she couldn't manage to wake up on her own. Mistpaw shook her head, trying to ignore her distress for now, focusing instead on finding her mentor, the tightness of her shoulders relaxing somewhat when she realized that Mountainstar was with Willowstep, the pair discussing the day's patrols. So she wasn't as late as she had thought but Mistpaw couldn't shake the belief that she should've been awake earlier. At least, she'd have the chance to greet the medicine cats. Goosefeather had taught her how to navigate the camp well enough that Mistpaw had little trouble locating the fresh kill pile, going slowly enough that she could hear any cats who may happen to be in her path and avoid bumping into them. Sniffing over the prey, Mistpaw chose a mouse to bring to Goosefeather and headed into the medicine den. As she entered, Mistpaw's mewed a muffled greeting, ears angling slightly towards Goosefeather's voice. She stifled a purr of amusement at the tom's demand of his apprentices and padded towards him, laying the mouse in front of him. "Good morning everyone," Mistpaw tried her greeting again, voice clearer without the prey in her jaws. "I brought you a mouse Goosefeather."
