So call me slow but I never realized there was a day by day story going on underneath the characters on the map until last year’s event.

I was caught in the pet frenzied and missed day ones story. Did anyone happened to read the first day?

But today is about missing tools and not wanting a modernized mail system(??)

So this guys is totally not an old pet dressed up right??
I love this NPC it’s my fav so far
I will be kidnapping them when the time come >:3

Where I live, we have a ton of historical stuff on both the pony express AND the “Wild West” time period (in relation to mining mostly). So it would be fun to get some “prospector” items, train conductor items, pony express items, and/or TRAIN ROBBER items! Like uniforms, hats, little bandanas, mail bags, etc.

Trains brought a lot of wealth to the west and money passed through (for good and ill) on the way to California. So items related to that could be fun! Items like money bags, little robbers’ masks, historical clothing, imported goods (cans of food or dry goods). Tons of opportunity to make cute items AND tell a story!

In relation to pets it would be neat to see some animals native to my area! Rattlesnakes, javalinas, hawks, condors, coyotes, bobcats, or mountain lions would be SO cute!!!

Plus, if they made a tumble weed pet as the banner pet??? Mayhem!!

I’m pretty excited to see what direction they take this event, and I’m hyped they’re focusing on the topic of the railroads and pony express, those topics DO NOT get enough focus in history on their importance in the development of the time!

Right??? I have so many ideas, I would LOVE a tumbleweed pet!!! Honestly, this event has A LOT of potential!

Today's token pets are cute. I giggled because well, snail mail, as mail in the mail box gets called now.
