Just going to politely add that just because the event is Wild West themed doesn’t mean that anything insensitive about the Wild West itself will be used. I don’t think the staff would ever intentionally add something harmful in. The Wild West is a huge theme in media and US history. The theme and the history are tied together and that’s not something that can be helped, but if handled properly, I think it will all be handled respectfully

very heavy on this...!!! this wild west theme is very clearly based on the fictional wild west tv/movie trope. it used to be HUGE with black and white tv, historically one of the favourites of tv owners in the past. more of that playful theme rather than what actually hisotrically happened during these times where the ''wild'' west took place. of course, that can't downplay what did happen during those times, and it is a sensitive theme for some people for obvious reasons.. saying that an offensive native item was renamed in 2020 due to the mods realising how insensitive it was to native players, i'm sure they will tread lightly.

edit ; i'm not just trying to sweep this under the rug and say ''uh we should just ignore it.'' bcuz i do see why people are upset, and that's fine. nothing wrong with that. but we as a society have learned so much from the those times, we see how it is all wrong, clearly. what happened then wasn't okay, and even the continuous prosecution they receive isn't okay.

Not gonna lie....I was thinking about Wild West movies and Terrence Hill & Bud Spencer movies. I went to google one of their movies and the browser offered me to visit Chicken Smoothie, so I am here. I have to admit, I'm so excited about this year's theme!

But omg. Horses and drafts!!! I always love the natural/realistic designed equines, this is exciting!

As someone else said, pronghorn deer would be great to represent as well! Eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons, snakes, spides, centipedes, there are so many examples of really fascinating wildlife (flora and fauna) in the american west!
