It started really interessting. The cameo rat. It´s free. It´s a rat. It could get an extremly uncommon. And it feels impossible to get. We will see with how many outcomes this happens this time

I like the westerns theme! Mabye a few more horses get their stage <3

don't know if it's just me but i'm a little disappointed with how indistinct these tokens are. even with the easter eggs, they can at least vary in color/size/name. my fav tokens to collect are always the halloween candies! but these letters are so plain... i almost wonder if they're gonna change into something else mid-event? is there a precedent for something like that happening?

i don't mind the designs being plain, but i am having a hard time telling them apart right now apparently i'm not getting a lot of that tiny front-facing one, but i had no idea!

Apologies if this specific discussion has already been had before on this thread, but I am loving the rats! I love all rats so it's not a big surprise but I think the line edits on these wild west rats are super cute.

Has anyone else noticed how many line edits they've been doing with the rats as of late? Does anyone else think there might be implications there, like they might be toying with the idea of changing up the lineart officially since so many people seem to dislike the original lineart? Because it sort of seems like that to me! Either that, or more and more artists have just chosen to give the rat lineart some love lately on their own, which is really cool. Either way, I always love seeing the changes people make. That also begs the question, which of these 'new' linearts do you guys like best?



Personally I really love the overall look of the wild west ones. I enjoy that they're sort of a mix of the more realistic looking June litter and the cartoony May litter. The wild west rats solve my biggest problem with the May litter, which was the prominent muzzle. I love that the wild west rats have more of a sloped muzzle, but a bit softer and more cartoony than the June rats do!

honestly im not sure which of the main four rat designs we have now i like best! the originals a classic, but theres something to love about all of them, you know?! either way, i really do love that the artists have been playing around with the lineart. its so fun and makes adopting them so much more whimsical!

I am also disappointed that the tokens are all the exact same color- I wish they were each different colors at least. Other than that I really like the event!! I was actually secretly hoping for a cowboy event just because I saw a few people suggest it and it seems fun!! I love Flux and Major 🥺
I have to try and find as many tokens today because tomorrow we’re going tubing on a river for hours and my phone isn’t waterproof >< so I won’t be able to find as many tokens tomorrow. I already found a lot though!! (I sold some for C$ though so I could buy a store pet.)
Anyway it’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m really happy the event started in time before my birthday!! I hope I like tomorrow’s pets, I like hoarding the outcomes from my birthday!! (So anything besides my least favorite species, I hope). I can’t believe the summer event is already here!! It’s my second one, I’m so excited!!

Here is a caparison of all the recent rat lineart edits, including the one from last Christmas.
I think the new one is my favorite!! I like the cartoony black lines and the eyes are just like how I draw cartoon animals so it reminds me of something I would draw. I also really like the ears. I just think the rat looks funny (in a good way) and whimsical.
