hmm, i've noticed that a lot of people are somewhat put off by the fact that i collect animal bones and wet specimens, even my coworkers. i'm always on etsy looking mystery boxes and currently i'm fixated on saving up for some sphinx kittens (who passed humanely, of course), but my prized possession is a deer femur i found in the front yard of my parents' cottage.
^ good luck on your last two weeks! internships are always hard to let go of once the contracts end, especially when you find yourself having a lot of fun working with the people around you.
> celebrating my first night living alone by curling up with a good book and stalking the cs pages to grind out this event. life is sometimes so simple, in a good way of course:)
v what do you enjoy doing when you have some alonetime?

I would like to mix the parts I enjoyed about working in a restaurant (high-paced, good banter, enjoyable drinking culture, don't have to wake up early) with working in an office (my feet don't hurt, don't have to talk to people if I don't want to, actually makes a livable wage). Unfortunately they are at completely opposite ends of a spectrum. I would also love to draw for a living but only what I want to draw in my comfort zone lol. No idea what I'm gonna actually do right now.
^ Sounds very exciting!! I love birds as well :). Volunteering is always a good step to getting into careers too! Good luck!
> Finally the weekend, and I get all of next week off as well :D Gonna get a commission done and then do some traditional painting for myself. I've been able to paint in the garden as well, since the weather's been nice and warm.

I live with my parents still so the way they’ve decorated the house is very reminiscent of a house in Texas where they’re from… kind of mid century modern inspired, lots of tropical and western themes. my room is the complete opposite, a lot of blue and black, cds and figurines and candles everywhere, warm low lighting and a lot of celestial theming and posters everywhere… I want to paint my walls a nice mellow purple and get more horror memorabilia too. it’s my “goth cave” XD
^thats so amazing! I hope you enjoy the relaxing week and I hope that your art pieces turn out to what you want them to be
> summer is almost over!!! :(
v what is your favorite summer activity?

Nobody would ever guess this but Transformers: More than Meets the Eye is probably my favorite book (at least as far as comics go). It just makes me happy when I read it besides when some of my favorite characters get literally obliterated bc this is Transformers after all and someones gotta die.
It's a ship full of misfit Transformers that set out on a quest to find the legendary Knights of Cybertron. It's got a found family thing going for it but with giant robots (half of which should probably be in jail rn), it's all very cute. I can go on for hours about why I enjoy this book but nobody wants to read 200 pages of straight up nonsensical rambling.
^ you just like me fr fr reading >>> literally anything else. I also I hope you get that bag
> Was starting a new series and found out my favorite character thus far dies so idk what point is. I've known Chambers for 5 seconds but he means the world to me. Nobody else in that anime matters like yawn yall boring. Idk if I even wanna continue watching it. Life just isnt the same without a sentient robot...
v Least favorite song you ever listened to?

It would have to be "Breathe" by Jack Jones. The vocals are horrendous. I have no doubt there is another one in my memory, but that's the one that comes to me first.
^ Maybe you can cherish the scenes he is in? I know that sucks. It's one reason why I don't really get into television anymore.
> I now have two water bottles.

I horribly misjudged how hot it is outside. Almost passed out while on a walk, but I made it to the Wendy's at the top of the hill. Right before the pandemic started, I asked how buying fast food worked because I wanted a frosty. I never got to actually do that until now. I'm sitting in a cool nearly entirely empty Wendy's with a large cherry Sprite and large triple berry frosty right now as I type this. My first ever time in a restaurant by myself was successful and I am proud of myself. I'd say that's somewhat worth nearly fainting in front of the half-abandoned crumbly shopping plaza, haha. So... Good. I'm having a good day.
^ Did the first water bottle have a baby, or are they unrelated to each other?
> Other than needing to ask how to use the drink fountain, buying fast food was much easier than I thought it would be. That drink fountain is a funky touch screen blob that made me a bit nervous. Doable, but eeek.
v Do you like this year's summer event theme? (I'm hoping that we get train items since there's a railroad there, I love trains.)
