Oho, a wild west-themed event! And...

We have to prove that the train isn't needed for us to do our jobs, or they might run us out of business!

Too early to tell if this is said lightheartedly or if it's a serious concern. If it's a serious concern, then maybe this is going to be this year's source of conflict and the resolution will have the townsfolk finding a happy balance.

It could, of course, just be a lighthearted quip that doesn't say anything about this year's plot LOL it's way too early to tell, especially since we don't even have access to the train yet--the plot could easily be, say, bad actors trying to use the train for bad ends or something lol

Well, given what the blacksmith says, I can definitely see it being a major plot point

Thanks for stopping by! I'm the blacksmith, and I'm so excited you're here for the grand opening of our rail line. It's going to revolutionize travel as well as transport of goods, including mail! Can you imagine how much more a rail car can carry than a pony? It's going to be amazing. We just need to put the finishing touches on the train.

Looks like I’ve been mostly beat to item ID already but I did do some archive scouring myself; Earp’s flower is the Golden Glamour Headband also from Christmas 2016, it just looks different than in the archives because it’s converted to fit the pony lineart
Sallie is also from May, not March, but other than that everything looks spot on

The pattern of these two makes me think of dogs
- Doberman ?
- Australian shepherd ?

Perhaps it's the coat of various dog breeds popular in the wild west ?
I could be completely wrong though.

Fancy mice have so many cool coat genes it makes me jealous. Brindle rat genes when??

Seeing the wild west theme makes me desperately hope we get an armadillo or three. Last summer's opposum was my favorite. I love nature's dumpster divers.
