INTRODUCTION
Clans have existed for ages, and the mountains are no different. In the mountains, there is
a clan called PeakClan. They do well in the mountains, despite the difficulty in living there
due to predators like hawks and mountain lions, & the roughness of the stone. There came
a new leader not so long ago, who made kits become apprentices too early, avoided giving
warrior names even to cats who had earned them moons before. He even sent cats out to
provoke predators, and the word of the leader was considered law. Due to how many cats
were injured or further, it was no surprise that there was an herb shortage. Some cats chose
to leave, most stayed, until one day a mother of a few apprentices that died decided the
leader did not deserve to stay leader. Brackenstar had refused to name a deputy, the clan
was anxious on who he would pick. But it was too late, Mountainstorm killed him. A moon
has passed & so far, she's made a good leader.

GENERAL INFORMATION
PeakClan lives on a mountaintop, it's not hard to find a twolegplace around, they normally accept
any cat who wants to join. Their main camp is in the caves of the mountain, so most cats have hard
pawpads and thick pelts to endure the bitter leafbares. They keep an extra camp at the base of the
mountain just in case of mountain lions finding them, but it's hardly used. They have a common area
in the caves where the leader gives ceremonies at the same level as the rest of the clan.

The leader stepped out of the cave, letting her paws feel the worn-down stone of the passage way. It didn’t take long for her to see sunlight, her own den was closer to the exit of the cave than any other tunnel. Mountainstar had been the leader for only one moon, and though she’d done better than the former already but she wondered if there was more she could do for her clan.

She let out a quiet yawn, her slightly blurry gaze seeing small movements, easily recognizing it as Lightningjaw. The tom had been padding after one of her denmates for moons now, and now she spotted him leaving breakfast for Creamflower. Ivyscorch didn’t mind, seeing as Wolfbite would visit Tinyleaf and she herself could get some prey for her kits.

The light-pelted warrior had quietly ducked into the nursery, leaving a fish for his crush next to her nest. Lightningjaw glanced over at Ivyscorch as she started to wake, and left the den before he ended up waking every queen. He was normally up and hunting every morning, and brought Creamflower something to eat if he had time.

The fluffy white tom still found the cave den full of warriors a bit odd, after spending so long with his other apprentices. He hadn’t slept all too well since he had moved his nest, since he was even the youngest warrior. His mentor had said Fangfrost had deserved to be a warrior moons ago. But he chose not to dwell on it for much longer, rolling out of his nest carefully not to hit any cat.

The brown tabby laid on her back, tossing a mossball back and forth to herself in sheer boredom. She thought about leaving the den, but didn’t really want to leave the warmth of the cave. It was only just getting out of leafbare after all.

Creamflower wakes up to seeing a fish laying in front of her. She gets up to stretch, yawning as she wakes her body up after a good night's sleep. She sees Ivyscorch is awake and smiles, purring at her denmate. "Hello Ivyscorch!" she greeted warmly. "You wouldn't happen to know who left me this prey do you?"

Her attention moved to her denmate, giving a brief glance to the other nest with Tinyleaf, checking to see if she was still asleep with all the ruckus. It was better for her to sleep now before the kits came, and Ivyscorch couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle at her question. “Good morning, Creamflower, who else leaves you prey in the morning besides Lightningjaw?” She hoped they would finally say something to each other, though personally the broken jaw had upset her a bit the first time he entered the nursery, even managing to scare one of the kits on sheer accident. The incident was cleared up after the kits were told a small story about it.

rosedapple had woken up early so she could get started on the day, going over their herb stock and taking note of anything needing replacement. she also wanted to have a head start on checking up as many clan-mates today as she could. when she noticed enough cats were up and about, she prepared herself for the duty. "echolight, goosefeather, I'm gonna go check on everyone! I need to see if mountainstar is okay, if lightningjaw has any pain in his jaw, oh and you're free to accompany me. oh! I also have to check on the queens such as tinyleaf, creamflower, ivyscorch, and also..." she rambled on to herself unaware if they were awake or even still in the den at all, until her voice slowly faded away as she left the den and wandered off into the camp. "okay, okay, let's see... hmm.." her amber eyes scanned the clearing until she spotted mountainstar - the leader is always first! "good morning, mountainstar, did you rest well?" she began to look her over with her eyes, "anything on your mind you need to discuss? it's not just physical health that needs tending to, after all." rosedapple spoke quickly as she gazed upon her with a bright smile.

ravenfall was slow to wake up, as he curled up in his nest after a bad rest involving an uncomfortable dream. he simultaneously wanted to get up and going, but also just lay there for a few more minutes. he had gotten use to the nightmares a little bit, he was less likely to bolt out of his nest. but still, they also left him unrested. regardless, he didn't have the luxury to mope around and frankly he didn't want to, the clan needed his work ethic, especially now that he was a mentor. "alright, lazy-bones, get up..." he whispered to himself as he stood up and slowly stepped into the morning sunlight. a deep breath left his mouth as he looked around the camp, eager to get to work. at least nothing disasterous happened while he was asleep. that could always change though, he thought cautiously. having an apprentice gave ravenfall mixed emotions, he wasn't sure how being responsible for another cats training would bode with the way he is. it was his duty as a warrior of course, and a matter of time until it happened, but still... regardless, he had to do his best. ravenfall made his way to the apprentice's den as well, casting a glance to wolfbite who also appeared here, "uh.. honeypaw? let's go." he called out. now he would have to plan out what they should do, he was leaning towards fighting training. but honestly, he might just ask honeypaw what he was feeling.

wolfbite had spent most of the night awake, unable to sleep as usual. the night had been cold, and wolfbite was thankful for their thickpelt keeping him warm. they took the time to guard the camp in the meanwhile until the sun rose up into the sky and the clan began to stir. when they considered it appropriate, they began to plan their day. first they would approach leafpaw, get the day started by interacting with his apprentice per his duty, second he would check up on tinyleaf and see how she is doing afterwards unless they stumble across her in the meantime. however, whether or not the young apprentice had awoken was to be discovered. as such, wolfbite began to walk across from camp to the apprentices den and look into it, "leafpaw, are you here?" he questioned, awaiting a response. if none was given it either meant leafpaw was still asleep and would have to be unfortunately woken up by wolfbite, or she had wandered off somewhere.
