Favorite type of rodent: That's a hard one because I love rats, but it has to be Syrian Hamsters
Tell us about your pets: I currently have a trio of three stinky rat boys. Flick is a veriberk pearl, Vector is a black hooded, and Volta is a veriberk cinnapearl! I've previously had a trio of rats who sadly passed away last May. They were Higgs, a blue berkshire, and Cinna & Finnick, the rex agouti twins. <3
Other: I used to own an ethical hamstery called Hathor Hamstery! I'm currently on hiatus but if anyone has any ham questions, I can help!

      Favorite type of rodent: RATS!!!
Tell us about your pets: I have 4 pet rats who bring us so much joy. They are so sweet and gentle, not just my favorite rodent but my favorite pet (we also have 3 cats and a dog). They love anything new, especially if it krinkles. They are playful, affectionate, just the best tiny little creatures. I could gush about rats for hours. We have had 19 rats in total over the last 9 years.

Tell us about your pets: I have one robo hamster named Eclipse!
      Other: n/a

Here's some pictures of my hammy Eclipse! I got him on the solar eclipse recently and he's been such a cutie patootie! When I first got him I brought him home in a 20in x 12in tank, and spent the next few days on the hunt for a bigger tank on marketplace. I ended up finding a 75 gallon tank (48in x 12.5 in) for only $50!!! I couldn't believe it. Now he's living big in his new tank. In his tank, 1/3 of it is where his sand and wheel is and the rest of the tank has tons of bedding, a level, a coconut hut, grains, etc. His wheel came in yesterday morning and when he woke up at midnight he ran on it the rest of the night. When I woke up at 9am he was still going and I got concerned so I took it out. I'll put back in when I get home but I'm afraid he's just anxious and running way too much. I'll slowly get him adjusted to it. Here's a link to him breaking the speed of light and creating three versions of him going maximum velocity.

I'm getting a rescue mouse 2 weeks from now! He's an unfixed male so I have to keep him alone, but perhaps if I find a vet nearby that can neuter him I will get him some lady friends (if the opportunity arises). I have a detolf cage I used to house my gerbil boys before, he's going to be such a spoiled little guy. And I'm so glad I found remote work opportunities so I can spend lots of time with him. It's my first time keeping a pet mouse but I'm looking forward to it so much~

These are my sweet little guys, my rats Mummy (hairless) and Dust (black and white). This picture was taken before they needed to be separated due to aggression in Dust that I suspect to be hormonal. No worries, though! He has been fixed and hopefully this will resolve the issue. They are both doing well and look forward to living together again.

(I just posted this in a different thread but thought yall might want to hear or could resonate with this. I think most creatures have beauty to them regardless or not of their stigma)

"I live with my in-laws right now. They put sticky traps in the yard because there are rats that occasionally come around. Me and my little sister in law found one stuck to a trap and I helped free him with olive oil and took him to a park down the road. Seeing him struggle was hard to watch and I didnt want to accept his fate of suffering the night only to be found by my father in law in the morning. While he was a bit olive oily (I now deem the bottle my rat oil), he got to run free in the bushes.

I dont believe any animal should be hurt for just surviving and living as every creature is programmed to do. May god have mercy for the small souls too.

(I will be watching the traps to see if I can help but it is not my house)
(I deemed him the name of Stuart)"
