Willow
Willow hadn't been expecting Than's last attack, and it caught her hard on her shoulder, making her stumble backwards. Suddenly Than galloped away, and Willow looked around, confused. Suddenly she realized how much stronger the human scent had become, and wheeled around, spotting both humans. Panicking, Willow backed away slightly, too tired to do more. So she waited, wondering what the humans would do.

Alison
"I'm not sure if I should be glad that I was correct or not. But at least we should be able to get the mare, even if the stallion has gotten away." Alison replied, somewhat annoyed. She had been hoping that they would be able to capture both of the horses, but that would most likely have been impossible anyway.

~Jacob~
Shrugging, Jacob took a step forward. "I don't think we could have caught the stallion anyway. He didn't look as tired as the mare does, and he seemed to be more aggressive," Jacob speculated, his eyes trained on the mare. She seemed to have given up, her exhaustion overwhelming her. That didn't mean she would not give a fight, but the two companions stood a higher chance of successfully capturing the mare.
"I wonder if George'll be happy or mad. Or maybe both..." The man wondered aloud, not caring either way how George would react.

Willow
Willow was uncertain about the humans. Curious, mainly, having never seen a human before, but her instinct told her they were dangerous. Not that she had the strength to run anyway.

Alison
Alison took slow steps forward, wanting to get close enough to get a certain chance of capturing the mare. "I suppose it depends on the state George is in when we get back. But probably both, though I'm not sure which of the two of us he'd be more mad at." she replied. She doubted Jacob had been expecting an answer, but she had replied anyway, so not much she could do about it.
Now Alison was glad that she was left-handed. Normally it would just be annoying, but with her right arm broken, Alison would still be able to do most things. Her hand went to the rope hung on her belt, and she removed it, holding it loosely in her hand. She was doing everything slowly as so not to startle the mare.

~Jacob~
Jacob had not been expecting a response from Alison, and flicked his eyes to look at her quickly before looking back at the mare. A smirk appeared on his face, and he gave out a soft chuckle. He was pretty sure George would be more angry at him than Alison.
"Oh, you know George. He'd go soft on you. You know he hates being harsh with you. It's written all over his face," Jacob said, his eyes rolling skyward. "As for me...well, I'll be in for it." He was going to be expecting this. But at least they would have a mare to make up for leaving.
Gripping the rope in his hand, Jacob took small steps forward, not wanting to spook the mare. She seemed to hold an inquisitive look on her long face, as well as an circumspect one.

Alison
Alison narrowed her eyes slightly, and turned her attention fully onto the mare, who was standing a short distance away. Alison still gripped the rope in her hand tightly, though Jacob would have to ensnare the mare with his rope before Alison could, because Alison wouldn't be strong enough to hold the mare if she bolted at the feeling of rope around her neck. Jacob, at least, should be able to for a short time.

Since Alison had turned her full attention to the mare, Jacob did the same. Taking slow but deliberate steps forward, Jacob neared closer to the mare. He was careful to only get close enough to throw the rope and lasso the mare. He didn't want her to bolt before that.
Raising his arm, the hunter gripped the rope and began to swing it in a circular motion over his head. Jacob gritted his teeth, swung the rope a few more times, then let it fly. It's aim was for the mare's neck, but she could charge before the rope reached it's target.

Willow
Willow had been watching the humans intently, growing more and more worried as they kept on walking slowly towards her. Suddenly they stopped moving, and Willow raised her head. The perfect target, not that she knew it. Suddenly she saw one of the humans raise their arms, swinging something around, which then they released and it flew towards her. Willow attempted to launch herself out of the snow to the side so the rope would miss her, but her hooves had basically been frozen into the snow from her standing still so long. She gave and angry neigh, jerking backwards and breaking the icy snow from around her hooves, just as the rope settled taught around her neck.

Alison
Almost as soon as Jacob had sent his rope at the mare, Alison raised her arm, swinging the rope over her head, before sending the rope flying towards the mare, aiming to loop the rope around the mare's neck. It looked like the mare's back hooves were still encased in the snow, but her front hooves were free and lashing out at the rope. It appeared that this mare wouldn't be so easy to take down after all.

~Jacob~
Jacob noticed how the mare's feet seemed stunk in the snow, but to his surprise, she managed to break free and lash out. Seeing his rope tighten as it landed over the mare's head, Jacob gripped the rope with both hands, preparing to hold the mare as Alison's rope flew through the air.
Jacob winced as his arms were jerked forward from the mare's movements. His dug his heels into the ground as best he could. I hope we can at least get one of those halters on her, in case she does have any powers... That was a reason they were catching this strange horse. Since Alison and George were scientists, they wanted to study why these creatures were the way they were. Jacob, on the other hand, would rather just have the horns, wings, or pelts for money. But George here was the boss, and he refused to let the horses be killed.

Willow
Willow was so preoccupied by the rope currently about her head, she was completely oblivious to the second rope flying at her.. Until it tightened around her neck, that is. Willow fell to four hooves for a moment, before springing up again. She seemed to have all but forgotten about the humans from how she was acting. With her rear hooves still encased in snow, she was unable to move, and it was the ropes that ensnared her. Willow was attempting to knock them back with her hooves, maybe snap them if she was lucky. But there was also the chance that she might get a foreleg trapped in the rope, which would make her far easier to capture.

Alison
Alison gritted her teeth as she watched her rope land soundly over the mare's head, wincing as the mare reared up, jerking hard on the rope. Now they really just had to wait a little until the mare calmed down. Alison dug her feet into the snow, bracing herself against the mare's strong tugs.

Wincing again as the mare reared up, Jacob gritted his teeth, keeping his hands firmly around the rope. With the mare still stuck, she would most likely tire soon enough, enabling Alison and Jacob to get closer to her. But for now, they just had to wait.
