NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tamagotchi Angel Original - Rereleased!
Announced at New York Comic Con, the Gen 3, or Angel Original, has made its way to the US and other markets! They are currently slated for a December 2024 release and have been popping up early in Target stores nationwide. They are also available via Amazon.

Potential Leaked Listings - Original Tamagotchi Angel Rerelease (leaked in July 2024 for release in 2025)
An Indonesian store leaked a couple of listings (below) for what appears to be rereleases of the Original Tamagotchi Angel! With a nod to recent v3 Connection Rereleases, we anticipate most of the core programming to remain true to the original game, with perhaps a few new characters and potentially a new game.




San Diego Comic Con - Exclusive Releases - July 25-28, 2024
Bandai Namco had their yearly booth at San Diego Comic Con and offered up a special "Tama Time Travel" Original Generation 1 shell and 50th Anniversary Hello Kitty Nano, which runs with the 2024 Hello Kitty programming. Images of these shells can be seen here. For making a purchase, they were also awarding exclusive Angel Balloon and Monster Balloon accessory stickers at random.

Tamagotchi Uni Releases Sanrio, Angel and Devil/Monster DLC - July 13th 2024
Sanrio, Angel Festival and Monster Carnival DLC are currently available to purchase for the Uni device in the official ticket shop. In addition to these new tickets, special colorways of the Uni device are available in Sanrio, Angel and Monster themes through physical and online retailers. Sanrio was initially announced April 11th on the Official Tamagotchi website here and the Angel and Monster announced in May here.

i need to run my pix tbh… i’ve been kind of hesitant to start it up and i’m really not sure why

ungrounded fears reaffirmed, i guess? so i got my Confetti Party Pix on sale for $15 usd at target and the first and only thing i’ve done since i have owned it, is take the original batteries out and put it into storage. i can’t remember a single time i’ve even gotten it to boot up to the title page or “please wait…” screen.

well, unfortunately for me, it seems as though the device i got was a dud. :(
i’m asking the tamatalk tamagotchi discord group to see if this is a known issue or if i should just keep the device for display only… i did order a replacement Balloons Party Pix via Amazon since they’re 35% off at the moment, though. arrives in a few days so i won’t have to wait that long. fingers crossed i don’t have to exchange that one too ^^;;

Nooo oh my god I'd literally cry... I wish you luck on figuring it out 😭
I need to replace the batteries on mine. I swear the batteries run out SO quickly on the Pix, I love the Pix but I feel like I have to replace the batteries almost every few days 😓
