What are your goals on CS? Ideally, I'd like to get one of every pet, but that seems unobtainable. So, I'd like to get one of every pet minus store pets & special release pets.

How close are you to completion? Very close. As of writing, I need 973 pets! (1,227 including store & SR pets)

How long have you worked on this goal? (rough estimate:) 2015!

I can't believe I finally have the PPS Buckskin Pony! <3 2009 Ponies are done and I'm down to nine more Ponies before a complete Pony collection! I also now have 18 species completed (for normal releases at any rate) and I'm below 100 WL pets for 23 more species! (Of those 23 species, 16 are below 20 WL pets!) I'm also now down to 532 WL pets in total (including URs and Store Pets)! I'm so excited with the progress I've been making! <3

Awesome progress!

I actually came to celebrate progress on my own BW collection! I'm up to around 1195 (I think I may still have some in event groups that are not counted). I'm slowly getting closer to getting a full collection.

I'm not looking forward to trying for the UR Bwolf or peach. Keeping my fingers crossed I have some luck this Dec 18th 😂

i'm super excited. only 20 pages left on my wishlist. i feel like i've made great progress but also still have so long to go. definitely about to be hitting the expensive part of collecting, but it's getting there. i've been working on my collections since November of 2023 !!

I don’t want to say I gave up on finding this one, but the fact I just happened to find it UFT and I could afford it was shocking. I’m one horse away from being done with Tess horses! I’ll always find it funny I found both URs long before this one, the one I’m missing, and the string one. Even if I don’t do much more this year, it’s still been productive. I think I began this year with an 8 page WL and now it’s 5 (until I find my monthly stuff and then it’s back to 4). I think I found something like 8 URs so far so 🙌

I am missing one pet from 2020 and once I have that I will have every normal release from 2010 to present! I need 37 store pets from that time frame as well! I'm making so much progress! Down to 9 pages of WL and 255 total pets (normal release, store, and UR included) I'm missing to a complete collection!

their collections congrats to everyone who has completed or
is very near completing their goals!!! : )

after being gone for a while and the continuing hiatus-ing I've
been feeling like I need to disband some of, if not most of, my
collections I just don't think I'll be able to keep up.

Can I ask how people decide to disband/how?
I know I'd like to keep the pps collections (even though the months
I miss with r-vr makes it hard haha) but I'm not sure if I'm feeling the
other lines the same way I was before but it's hard to assess if I'll
want to start again in the future and I should just make them "inactive" ;-;

I've previously completed and then disbanded a snake, macaw, and chicken collection!
The biggest thing for me was that the collection no longer sparked as much joy as they used to. Eventually, it started to feel more like an obligation to maintain the collection than being genuinely excited to see all of the outcomes as they came out. My two ongoing larger collections (cats and bats), I feel excited about seeing all the different outcomes and look forward to (or at the very least don't mind!) trading for outcomes I may have missed.

That being said, in all cases, I ended up at least temporarily holding on to a couple of outcomes that I either particularly liked or thought would be harder to get back hold of if I did decide to come back to them. ^^;
You could always try and put the collections you're thinking of disbanding in a group and set them aside, just to see how it feels for a month or so when you focus on just the collections you're sure that you're still interested in!
