oh I had a potential idea? Or two? (Cause I can’t remember if I had mentioned the first one or not already haha)

1 - what if Flood overheard her two legs talking about the upcoming storm and heavy rain/flood warnings because they have to board up the farm animals, so she goes out of her way right before the storm hits to tell some of the clan cats? However the medicine cats had already left for the moonpool, so she heads that way (since it’s on the way to her farm anyway) and that’s when she comes across the medicine cats getting caught in the flooding there already happening?

2 - i also thought that if the flood temporarily kicks the clan out of their camp, Flood could volunteer the abandoned work shed on the very edge of her two-legs farm as a temporary shelter for the clan, since it would be high ground?

@oceanz - Cloudpaw will definitely need to be saved by someone during the flood. He's probably the kind of guy who would panic and freeze during an emergency, and Shadowthorn sacrificing himself for one of Claystar's kits would be tragic.

personality Skypaw would define himself as a "retired menace." While his own pranking days are (mostly) behind him, he loves enabling and encouraging the younger apprentices in their own deeds. He's fiercely protective over his much smaller littermate and would literally give Nightpaw his life if it came down to it.
appearance Skypaw is a large dark orange tabby with heavy white spotting. He's primarily white in color, his orange only showing on his ears cutting down to his eyes in a triangle shape. He has dark forest green eyes, and a low flowey tail. He keeps sparrow feathers tucked into his tail fur, gifts from his father when he was a kit. He has a small scar across his nose from Nightpaw.

history(optional) Skypaw had a very unremarkable upbringing within the clan. He was close to his father as a kit, but the two grew apart after his apprenticeship ceremony. He's devoted to caring for and protecting Nightpaw, with most of his life so far centered around keeping them safe. This has backfired however, as at almost a year old Nightpaw is still extremely dependent on their brother and has developed extreme separation anxiety.

I just had an idea that could go bad or go horrid for the clan cats. So I saw that there was talk about poppyseed having her kits during or before the flood happens. What would the clan do if somehow poppyseed looses one of her kits because of the flood? Like it doesn’t die, they just loose it amongst the chaos.

And perhaps one of the loners/kitty-pets find the kit drifting away in the flood waters? While the clan can’t look for the small kit as the flood water is too great and powerful?

@ broken* - I really like the idea of flood helping the clan by offering them shelter! I had no clue where to put them in the meantime lol.
I like the idea of flood warning the medicine cats as well! we will have to get their players opinions for sure c:

Personality Seedpaw is more of a quiet tom but loves adventure. hes stubborn and tends to keep to himself but when you know him better he can be funny and enjoyable. he enjoys hunting but isnt very fond of patrolling. he can often take things overdramatic and is offended easily being quite senstive but tries his best to shake it off and not be offended.
Appearance Seedpaw is a light ginger tom with darker ginger ear tips. hes small and has quite messy fur, that his mother always tries to groom down but ends up failing. he has hazel eyes. He also has a white underbelly and a dark ginger tail tip.

@oceanz oh yeah no the idea i had for swan was like. similar to this? + i think i’m gonna yoink fishstrike (mothsight’s brother) so i can have him also die in the flood. i just think it’d be funny. (sorry mothsight)

i like the idea of flood offering the shed!! that’s so sweet. also @dame i LOVE the chaos of that. if queen is okay with that i’d love to adopt the kit that gets separated lol. + down for flood to be trying to warn the med cats only for them to go “yeah you THINK??”
