juniper smiled as the male spoke so fondly of his past mate. She softened her look and scrunched her brows together slightly as he spoke of his mate and omegas, something up until today, she didn’t really remember the feeling of. She listened quietly and respectfully, letting him finish every word and get things off his chest. And a soft smile, not if pity, but if affection and kindness remained on her face the entire time. At least, until he brought up her love life. She didn’t need to think for this, she knew immediately “no…” she mumbled gently before speaking once more “someone would have to speak to me for me to have experienced any kind of affection” she spoke a little gruffly as she stood up, now a little uncomfortable speaking to him. “blindness, while you may not seem to be bothered by it… Is a downfall for any wolf. I can barely care for myself, how could I possibly tend to a mate or pups” she huffed as she stood a little wobbly yet trying to stand firm.

@siren, first paragraph is directed at nova, rest is from the previous post, I do apologise for trinity, she became very cold after losing her mate. But shes actually a very protective wolf, hence why libertys wrath is no concern to her. ))
While trinity took note of what the far said, her concern was for chi alone. As for the pack member whom had been at the end of libertys wrath, she could deal with that later. As for Maison having an attitude, trinity would not stand for it, and for nova to have simply rolled over and taken the attitude was a fault on her behalf, being beta, she should have immediately put Maison on the ground and warned him. Which meant trinity now could cop more attitude than was necessary as he had already gotten away with it with a higher ranking wolf. After all, it was not nova or trinity that did the damage. She knew immediately why Maison had attitude when she saw him, it was a nasty wound, one he could manage for sure, however, unlike nova, which while she did not see the altercation, trinity would not tolerate any attitude from the healer, she had a deep respect for nova and Maison of course. But she was no push over, and she would not tolerate any over dominant behaviour from lower ranking wolf. That nova did it’s simply made trinity concerned for the she wolf, a hint of protectiveness perhaps for her, at least in trinity’s own way. And honestly, no one probably would even know unless she saw nova being mistreated infront of her. But until nova saw this behaviour, it was possible the wolf would never know how much trinity actually cared for the beta.
Upon entering the den, she took a mental note of Maisons injury to ensure she dealt with it after she was content with chi, but for now, it was not a concern. The healer was managing, he wasn’t dying, he wasn’t crippled. He was more or less, fine. trinity may not be super liked in the pack, but she was respected, she was blunt and straight to the point, she didn't waste time with pleasantries in situations like this, and despite her respect for the healer, she was surprised this was his solution for a tricky labour. he had helped her with her own labour, but hers had been a breeze, and if she remembered correctly, the wolf had brought her a rabbit and she had managed to eat some. chi however, from what trinity could tell, was early, and eating right now wouldn't be a wonderful feeling. she looked towards the apprentice heal and made what was an attempt at a soft look, truth be told, she just hadn't' been a smiley wolf before her mate let alone after his death, so this was pretty normal and everyone was used to it. she squeezed her way past the little learning healer and down beside chi, she watched her breathing and thought for a moment before lowering herself beside chi and placing the twig in front of her nudging the rabbit away, "you must eat the leaves chi... they will help speed up the process and may help ease the pain. they did for me" she softly murmured, probably the gentlest words trinity had spoken in a year, in fact it was probably shocking to hear the brown wolf speak so affectionately. "try some water from the fruits if you must, but not too much" she whispered gently licking at chi's fur to help comfort and ease her pain, wolves being very family orientated, licking and cooing and nuzzling should help ease the birthing mmma.
