RulesFor filling out the form!. This event will run for (hopefully) the full month of June. When we close, it will be heavily announced, so assume this is open unless otherwise stated!
. Please fill out the form provided below with no alterations to text or format, EXACTLY as requested (if it says 'add six markings', then add
exactly six markings - do not add 'artists choice' or just add the one marking you really want, we need a variety of options)
. If one of your six markings requires another marking to function (such as splash for blizzard to show or pangare for cervid to show) then count those as one marking and just write 'blizzard' rather than 'blizzard and splash', as an example.
. You may only pick one flag; linking to one specific flag image is allowed, but please refrain from posting images directly in your form; additionally, no harmful or controversial flags will be allowed (this includes things such as adding non-pride related flags, straight flags/ally flags (I recommend you use the progress flag if that's the vibe for you), severely outdated flags with negative origins, kink-related flags (per CS guidelines), etc. If you are at all unsure about this, please send me a message to double check before posting!)
. The base coats and markings are suggestions and therefore not guaranteed; for example, artists may add on additional small markings, or adjust the base coat dilutions as needed to better suit the other selections
For creating your sveldala semi-custom ideas!. If you are not familiar with horse coats,
this guide may be able to help you
. When selecting your base coats please include dilutions such as silver, spined, teastain, pearl, champagne, etc, but do not request any of the six pride dilutions or the Pride modifier itself in those selections
. Please add the full coat suggestion for all three (for example, do not just say 'black bay & seal', but rather something like 'Silver Grullo Roan, Buckskin Pearl, & Sooty Black - each of the three selections should have all the modifiers/dilutions attached to them and should be unique from each other)
. If you are unsure if a specialty marking counts as a dilution/modifier or it's own marking, you can utilize our newly updated
rarity guide which now states exactly which category each gene falls under
. When selecting your coats and markings, remember that as well as basic markings, any of the
specialty genes are also allowed to be selected
. Limited/seasonal rarity markings are not allowed, however any and all common, uncommon, or rare markings are fine
. If a marking appears different based on homo/hetero expression (such as masked bali BlsBls vs regular bali Blsbls), please make a note of which variation you want to see - if not, it will be up to the artist to choose!
. You may not request any sort of edits or additional things beyond what is provided by the form. Please do not pop in extra comments about "but I'd really like this marking" or "I need this eye color" or "make it a mare" or anything along those lines - these are
semi-customs, not full customs, and they are meant to offer as much artistic freedom as possible so that our staff can have fun and make really unique designs <3
For receiving your sveldala!. Once filled out completely, please post your form here - do NOT post it on the main page or PM it to any of our artists
. I know it's a big change, but it is possible that not everyone will receive a pride semi custom this year. I am so sorry, but our limited staff is just not able to fulfill such a big undertaking - it REALLY burned us all out last time and we wanna keep things fun! I promise I will personally try to get to as many people as physically possible so that as few people as possible are left out. That might mean I get to everyone in the final closing days of the event, but I just don't know yet, so this is your fair warning ahead of time.
. After your form is posted an artist will quote your form stating that they have claimed it; please strike out your post once you see you have been claimed to make it easier for us to keep track
. Forms will likely not be claimed in order, so please do not assume this means you were skipped over. Someone may still claim your form later on! Artist's will just be choosing based on what ideas interest them first, and will come back around for earlier forms when/if they're able.
. Once your sveldala is created, the artist will send you a PM with a link to your new walker; note that if you have PMs turned off or are a COPPA player then you will just need to keep an eye out for them yourself! (These will all be posted on the main page as usual.)
. Once your sveldala has been officially posted you will have fourteen days to give them a name (height and sex are pre-selected); if a name has not been posted, the sveldala becomes 'unclaimed' and will go up for re-adoption via either the creating artist keeping them for themselves or through a randomized discord raffle after the event is over
. If you do not like the outcome of your sveldala, you can message the artist or ShadyBro asking for it to be rehommed as soon as it's posted; note that you will not be able to ask for a different one, but it is super duper helpful to us to just rehome them right away rather than you letting the fourteen day claim period run out on it's own
. If you believe there was a mistake with your sveldala (wrong flag, base coats do not follow any of the provided suggestions, wrong pride dilutions used, etc) then please DM ShadyBro right away for quick mediation! I will not be requiring any staff to make major adjustments, but small fixes may take place or you may be offered item bundles in exchange for your sveldala if you are truly unhappy.
