Valerio shook his head. "Mmm... Well, Otto did say you might get this way. Here." He plunged a hand into his pocket and pulled out a familiar bottle. "You sure look pale, pigeon. Could it be because you haven't taken your meds, yet? If you come with us nicely, I'll give you your bottle. How's that sound?" He nearly cooed, looking at her coyly as the others watched to gauge her reaction.

"I'd really hate to have to try and grab you myself. Of course, Cat could do it for us, too, she's pretty strong. I'd hate to have to dirty your pretty face~ Come onn, sweetness. All we want to do is send a little video to your parents, maybe even the news reporters. That's all we want. Then you don't have to face our boss ever again. Whadya say?" He shook the bottle of pills he had in his hand. The group in particular didn't seem very willing to hurt her, nor get her dirty. In fact, they almost seemed like they were, in a way, trying to accommodate her. Her room wasn't near as bad as some others, course she wouldn't quite know that but you know. None of the group seemed particularly eager about grabbing her, either. It really depended on how she'd respond that they'd have to act.

Averys eyes widened and her jaw dropped in utter surprise. How did they knew she needed it? Zoticus. Of course. Well I'm sure it helped that she had told him almost everything. That almost made her realize she had trust issues. Looking from the bottle, to Valerio, and to each member of the "gang", he'd shoulders eventually went slack in realizing there wasn't really an easy way out.

"I-I- but, you can't do that!" She stammered, trying to contemplate the mild threat she had just received. "Y-Yeah, I guess you're right. I-I don't want to feel like this all the time..." Her voice died off to a murmur as she moved forward, towards Valerio.

"O-Okay. What now?" She wasn't addicted to the medicine, but from what she had been told about the possible side effect was what scared her into continuously taking it. Unbeknownst to her, what she had been told were lies. The medicine wasn't necessary for her, and it acted as a simple laxative, a stress reliever.

Valerio only smiled as Avery finally came forward, and the group remained still. All except Cat, who came up and moved near her. "You need these on." She said before offering the hand-cuffs.

Valerio offered Avery a pill from the bottle. "You take this pill, then we will take you out to our viewing room. There, we'll make a short video of your pretty face to send to your parents, and then we're done! You'll be able to come back to your room... unless your an especially good girl. Then maybe you could hang out with us." Valerio looked proud of himself. The group seemed mostly indifferent.

Avery quietly accepted the handcuffs, and slid her wrists into them. The bruises from the ropes were still rather visible, the skin tender and almost a dark purple color. At this point there wasn’t much she could do. There wasn’t anyone that could help her out of this situation, and no one really cared enough-(in her family,) to come and help. This video probably wouldn’t make much a difference, but at least she could leave this little room-like jail cell for an hour or two.

“I-I can’t take it without water. It’s fine. I’ll get it when I get back.” She dismissed him with a clumsy hand gesture before looking away from Cat, whom had offered the handcuffs. “Take me away, I guess.” Her tone was quiet, obedient. It was obvious that the girl didn’t want to get hurt. Her life mattered to her a little bit more then she had thought before all this had happened.

Sorry for such a late response ToT Summer's been getting busy))

It seemed like Zoticus had not mentioned anything to the rest of the gang concerning how Avery's family feels about her. Perhaps he wanted to see if they would prove her wrong in this instance? Or perhaps he wanted to show his gang how wrong they were? ...Or maybe it his chance to get her out of her parents' place and allow her the freedom she deserved? One wouldn't know, Zoticus would have to be asked. But, unfortunately, he was not around. Not with this group, anyway. He was setting things up for the video, along with their leader.

Valerio, on the other-hand, glanced over her wrists with a slight frown. Perhaps he could get some ointment for those. She must bruise easily. Valerio nodded before motioning for the group to follow him. Cat would remain behind Avery, along with Mo and Theo. They all followed Valerio into the filming room.

Which, honestly, looked much like her current room, just with worse lighting and more props. The chair she would be sitting in the light, which was facing a video camera, in the middle of the room. Valerio would move over to place a hand on Avery's shoulder at this point, taking the move to lead her to the chair. "Your throne, my queen~" he chimed softly, as a white-haired boy in the shadows glanced her way. There was something akin to irritation in his eyes, but he was quick to leave the room shortly after the group came in. It was a few other members now, with Avery, and their leader, who appeared to probably be one of the oldest members in the group.

"Good evening, my dear. My name is Fernandez, but a lot of the folks around here call me Fern or Uncle." He sounded pleasant... oddly enough. "If you could take a seat in the chair, here, then we can begin."

(No that's okay! I understand lolz, its been picking up a tiny bit little by little, thankfully I've still got plenty of free time for roleplaying:)

Avery, desperately trying to hide the look of uncomfortable awkwardness etched onto her face, silently complied, and allowed Valerio and the others to escort her towards the chair. The rooms in this building were odd, although her flight instincts at this point were slightly higher then fight, paying attention to details wasn't that important at the moment. She didn't know these people, let alone know what they could possibly do to her. The guys were tall, and even Cat had her by a few inches, if not more. To say she was intimidated was the very least.

At the mention of the leader, Avery paled slightly more as she managed a jittery smile. "Y-Yes, of course." The poor girl stammered as she quickly sat down on the chair, her hands shakily pressed into the pocket of her hoodie, her misty blue eyes darted about the room as she looked towards the leader and his gang. "Wh-What exactly, do I have to do?"

Valerio kept nearby as the other members moved a little distance away, giving their leader plenty of space while Val clearly liked to demonstrate how bold he was. Fern seemed to allow the young man in his presence with the young girl, although gave him a look with a risen brow. Val just grinned like a school boy.

Fern, despite sounding kind, seemed unaffected by the way Avery was behaving. He even ignored the mistiness that lingered in her eyes for the sake of what they were going to be doing shortly. He needed this, the gang needed this, everyone he knew needed this little break. If they could just get their hands on the money. "All you have to do is sit there and look just like you do now." He responded as he motioned to someone in the shadows, who ultimately came up to the camera. It was another young girl Avery had not seen before. "You can speak if you'd like, but I would appreciate it if you did so after I finished speaking. No one likes being interrupted." He looked her over a moment before humming. "But I don't think I'd have that problem with you. Zoticus has mentioned you're smart and well-behaved." Seemed talk from Zoticus even went to the leader, too.

"Are you ready, then?" He asked her as his gaze landed on Valerio, who stood his ground. Fern narrowed his gaze upon the young man but he remained, and soon Fern sighed. "Valerio, you're not in this film. Move."

Val, being verbally scolded, seemed to take a few steps back, a cocky look still on his face. He remained in the shadows just enough to be covered in darkness, but closer than most of the other gang members.

Avery looked from Val to Fern, seeming reluctant that her source of safety had left. Val didn't seem like the type to hurt someone for a fun of it, and she didn't like this position. Made her feel awfully uncomfortable and scared. At the mention of Zoticus, her eyes widened slightly as she fought the heartbroken expression that tried to make its way onto her face. Swallowing hard, she reluctantly nodded, unsure as to what she was really agreeing to. Her hands shook as she twisted them about, and she looked around the room, almost like a rabbit caught in a snare.

There had been way too many things she had told Zoticus, that had ultimately led her to ruins. Now she had accumulated trust issues. Avery had a soft heart, and wasn't the one to be reluctant to give second chances. That could have possibly changed, but who knew. If Zoticus decided to walk in, her whole world would probably flip, and she wouldn't know how to react. Abruptly shaking her head, she looked towards Fern. "Y-Yeah, Uh- do whatever, I guess."

Fern merely nodded, blissfully unaware of the turmoil going through Avery's mind and heart at the current moment, though he did have an inkling. After all, he brought up Zoticus for a reason. Little did she know that the man was quite beside himself as well. He couldn't face Avery. Not now... not after all he had done. Normally, clients wouldn't make an attachment to him, and he would not them, but Avery was different... It hit too close to home.

Fern waved his hand and put on a ski mask he had in his pocket before the camera's light turned on. He smiled at Avery before turning to the camera, a smug smile upon his face. "Are you wondering where your little girl is, Mr. Mars? She's right here, safe within my hands... for now." He gave with a sinister grin. The person manning the camera, someone Avery would not recognize, turned it to face her for a moment, and Fern was silent to see if she would have anything to say. She very well could, but if she did have nothing, then it would ultimately be turned back to him. "Keep her safe by bringing five hundred grand to the meetup point in three days. I'll send you the information once you reach out to me. I look forward to talking with you~" The filming ended then, and Fern took off his mask before looking back to Avery with a calm smile. "I don't plan on doing anything with you by the way. We may be a gang but we have lines we won't cross. Just gotta make it believable to our desired audience, you know?" He gave with a shrug before looking to Valerio in the shadows... then back to Avery. "If you garner some brownie points during your stay here, I'll grant you some freedoms while you're here. You'll be able to wander the halls freely and meet the rest of the gang here, but we will have to trust that you won't run away."

At this point, Valerio came up and placed a hand on her shoulder, grinning at her like a school boy. "I'd love to show you to my friends, pigeon~ They'd like to meet you, I'm sure."

Avery couldn't do much other then look around helpless, hee pale complexion contrast with the curtains that hung by the window. Of course, she had a decent tan skin tone, but in her panicked and overwhelmed state, she was pale and pasty. Part of her resisted the urge to respond, simply to make both of them mad. But then her conscious won over, and she spoke, as the video was finished.

"You do realize, you might as well hurt me now. They won't come with the money. If they do, it'll only be half. Maybe even less then that." She shook her head, her voice cracking as she spoke, as if truth really did seem to hurt.

"Do whatever you want with me. I didn't have much in my other life, I suppose things can only get better.." She managed a dejected smile before turning her gaze away from the men in front of her. The girl had seemed to lose the pep in her step, and the restlessness that had always been there before was gone. She resembled a lost puppy, twisting her hands in her hoodie, trying to hide their trembling.
