Design notes: mercedes is like,,, a giraffe/deer hybrid? her design is also basically symmetrical as well.
afa should be drawn in clothes, feel free to just throw her in a tank top of whatever color you think looks best with her palette!
i've also been leaning more towards giving afa facial anatomy that's more accurate to an actual alligator, if that's easier for you to draw!
