North
Seemingly endless forest, great for hunting. Medicine Cats travel far North to go to the Moon Pool. The Moon Pool is located in a complex cave system, past Medicine Cats have marked the walls to lead the way. The cave the Moon Pool is in has a hole in its ceiling, allowing moonlight to shine through.
East
Slightly more thinned out forest. The training grounds are located here as well as a decent sized pond good for apprentices to practice fishing.
South
More thinned out forest leading to a Thunderpath. This is banned territory for any apprentices/kits without a guardian. Loners/Kittypets are sometimes found here.
West
More thick forest, another good area for hunting. There’s a mellow river flowing through the area.

Camp
Dens are holes that have formed in the biggest redwood trees around camp. Natural sunlight is able to get in but the camp is on the darker side, good for staying hidden. Ivy grows wild all over the camp.

Claystar sat on the large redwood stump outside of his den, looking out at the camp. Morning dew speckled his brown and white coat; making the short-furred tom shiver slightly. The morning fog was still somewhat dense, covering about an inch of the forest floor. It was both intimidating and pleasant, but it never lasted long. Claystar peered upward, narrowing his eyes as soft rays of light filtered through the redwoods. The tom sighed, gently placing his tail over his paws and began to zone out, lost in thought. He was proud of how far his Clan had come recently. Although their numbers had dropped significantly from the green cough outbreak, Redwoodclan still was strong.

Basilpaw had been up for a while, having snuck out of the apprentice den through a hole she had found her first moon sleeping there. Green eyes were locked on a small, grey fuzzy creature. The cinnamon colored she-cat slunk forward, belly almost touching the forest floor. Basilpaw took a confident step forward, landing directly onto a small branch. With a disappointing snap the branch broke in two, sending the small rodent running. Basilpaw was fast, but not that’s fast. “Foxdung.” The apprentice hissed under her breath. Now she didn’t even have anything cool from her morning walk to show her siblings. Upset with her loss, Basilpaw turned to go back to camp. Hopefully her father hadn’t noticed she was missing.

It wasn’t long before she reached the smallest redwood at the back of the camp; the apprentice’s den. Basilpaw pushed through the brush surrounding the trunk of the tree until she felt the gap that begun the somewhat tight squeeze back into the apprentices den. Basilpaw went head first, pulling herself through the hole that lead down into the den. With a huff, the she-cat pulled herself forward, tumbling noisily into the den.

Rays of soft light filtered into the warriors den, awakening Apricotnose from her sleep. The fluffy she-cat raised her head and yawned quietly, looking around the den to see who was up. Not many were awake yet from what she could tell, so she would be sure to stay quiet. Apricotnose stretched in her nest, reaching her as far as she could without disturbing anyone. With a satisfied sigh, the she-cat got to her paws and began to leave the den. Apricotnose narrowed her eyes as she stepped outside, glad the shade of the redwoods didn’t allow the intensely bright light to get in.

Thick, dense fog covered the forest floor all around Greyheart. He loved the mornings in the forest. The light filtered in through the trees and reflected off the fog, making everything seem so mystical. Not to mention how blissfully quiet everything was. The tabby paused a moment to take it in, paw on his freshly caught vole. Greyheart couldn’t imagine life outside of the forest, or how he even had a life before he came here. Even if he didn’t have the clan, this forest was unlike any area he had been. There was always something new everywhere he looked; the forest was constantly changing.

𝐖olfblood sighed. He had been up for awhile, squinting as his eyes narrowed towards the suns rays through the trees. He stretched slightly, yawning as he looked out towards the forest. Another day.. he thought, before pouncing down to the leaf-covered ground with precision as he regained balance. He wasn't sure who else was awake. The chill, morning air was like a wake up call to him-- He stood quiet, careful of waking anyone else up as he trotted out of the den.

He decided to lay peacefully by a tree near the den. He would have gone father- possibly even to find a small snack, yet he didn't in case he would miss something important. He quietly laid there, listening to the subtle movement of birds in the trees, the small reptiles in the bushes. Maybe once the clan was more awake, he would talk to the leader or deputy about a task.

She organized the den a bit as she then groomed her fur, organizing a few herbs here and there. She sharpened her claws, standing proudly in the medicinal den. She sighed, glancing at her medicinal supplies.

"hm.. I'm running low on bindweed.." she muttered to herself, her tail lowering. "That's alright. I'll just have to get some later, I have a bit left anyway." She reminded herself, her eyes brightening in confidence. She relaxed in the medicinal den, enjoying the fresh morning.

𝐕enom quietly trotted through the forest. He wasn't too far from the Redwoodclan- but he didn't dare go near it. He trotted back to the abandon barn, quietly sighing. He had been roaming the forest for some time, just enjoying the fresh air. As he arrived at the barn, he pounced onto a hay bale and quietly sat there as he gazed at the trees around the barn.

It was a quiet day. Only the subtle squeaking of rodents and the distant birds in the trees. As venom sharpened his claws, he couldn't help but realize the extent of how it felt to be alone like this. He shoved the thought away and sighed, Stretching his paws in front of him as he felt the cool breeze.

Littlerain sat beneath the redwood stump, meticulously grooming her forelegs and face. The morning fog had dashed her spirits a bit, but she tried not to let it show. The other cats didn't seem to mind it, some even appeared to enjoy it's presence. Not Littlerain, however. The fog messed with her, throwing of her sense of smell and leaving her feeling damp for the remainder of the day. Satisfied with her work, she stood up and stretched, glancing up at Claystar as she did. He looked to be in some sort of quiet contemplation, and while she wanted to talk to him, she stopped herself before calling out his name.

Claystar was pulled away from his thoughts by the feeling of eyes on him. Hazel eyes fell on Littlerain and a soft smile spread in the tom’s face. He rather liked the she-cat, she was a calming presence to be around. The tom waved his tail in greeting, wanting to speak with her. However, seeing Milkbird out of the corner of his eye reminded him of his duties, he would have to socialize later. The Oriental Shorthair reluctantly got to his paws, stretching and digging his claws into the wood of the tree trunk before gracefully hoping down and making his way over to his Deputy. “Milkbird, good morning.” Claystar greeted the tom with a respectful dip of his head. “Could you lead a patrol of the Eastern border? Choose whoever you see fit, I’ll send out a small hunting patrol as well.”

”Oww.” Basilpaw hissed, rubbing her head with her paw. It had been a tough tumble from her secret tunnel, but well worth it. Olive eyes lit up as movement came from a white blob she knew to be her brother. The cinnamon she-cat slunk over, gently poking at her brothers side. “Cloudpaw… Cloudpaw? Are you awake? Come on wake up. Come onnn.” Basilpaw pressured, her pokes becoming more constant. “I’ll wake Beetlepaw too, you guys should be up by now.” The she-cat said with a frustrated huff. “You missed out on the best morning adventure.”

Apricotnose’s gaze fell on the Medicine Cat den, perhaps Crystalmoon needed some help. The orange and white she-cat padded across camp to the den, peaking her head in to make sure the Medicine Cat was awake before she walked right in.“Good morning Crystalmoon!” Apricotnose chirped happily, making her way into the den. “I hope you had a nice sleep. I was stopping by to see if you needed any help.” The young Warrior offered, looking over the other she-cats assortment of herbs. Hopefully Crystalmoon would gain an apprentice soon, someone to help her with her various tasks.

Greyheart sighed, noticing the light increasingly growing in the forest, brightening up the territory ever so slightly. This meant it was time to head back into camp and see what needed to be done. The tabby picked up his vole and began to make his way back to camp. Maybe today he would see if Brackenfang of Appleleap would be willing to train their apprentices together in a sparring session. Greyheart froze for a moment and the groaned. Maybe not. He kept forgetting the three were siblings, one always feeling like they had to talk to the other. If the three didn’t look almost exactly like him, Greyheart wouldn’t believe they were Claystar’s kits. Except for that Cloudpaw, he was just as reserved as his father. Greyheart shook his head, as if shaking the thoughts away. They would figure it out, after all the apprentices had to learn combat skills eventually. The tabby soon reached the circle of redwood he knew as home. He walked through the redwood arch that lead into camp, immediately heading to the fresh kill pile to drop off his prey.

A small breeze cut through the camp, stirring up the remaining fog and causing her to shiver. She watched as Milkbird walked away, before turning her amber eyes to Claystar's hazel one's. "Good morning Claystar." Littlerain purred. "Did you sleep well last night?"

𝐂rystalmoon's eyes lit up as Apricotnose walked in. She lit up in excitement, nodding. "Good morning, Apricotnose!" She explained cheerfully. She followed Apricotnose's gaze. "Hm.. well, I suppose you could help me with one thing?"

She pondered on the thought for a few seconds, before confidently turning back to Apricotnose. "im running low on bindweed. Do you think you could help? I'd get some myself, but I don't want to leave the place unattended. Just in case!" She smiled brightly.

Startled awake the young tom scrambled to his feet, eyes wide and claws out as he quickly looked around before his eyes narrowed in on basilpaw; lip curled back he flattened his fur “great starclan basilpaw! could you be any louder” he growled, his gaze flicking over towards cloudpaw as he settled into a sitting position and began to groom his short brown pelt, pausing briefly to look his sister over “when isnt she out there?” bettlepaw questioned as he laid his tail over his paws.

Flicking her tail the red-brown tabby watched quietly and from a distance as basilpaw slipped into camp empty-pawed, shaking her head she slipped back in to the under growth; intending on bringing more prey back to camp. After walking a few moments she stopped in her tracks, muzzle lowering to the ground as her maw parted, drawing in the scents around her until she found what she was looking for ‘mouse’ she thought to herself as she followed the scent trail. Soon the small brownish grey creature came into sight, scampering among the roots of a large redwood; dropping into a crouch she stalked forward carefully and once she felt she was close enough she launched towards it, claws outstretched as she landed on the mouse; killing it quickly before sending a “thank you” up to starclan.

Awaking to the sound of pawsteps leaving the den the mainly white patched tom yawned, stretching forward he pressed his paws against a sleek dark brown tabby as she continued to sleep ‘such a heavy sleeper’ appleleap thought to himself as he sat up and drew a paw over his ears, after a few moments he reached a white paw forward and pushed heavily into the brown tabby “wake up brackenfang, it’s almost time for the dawn patrol” he stated before padding out of the Warriors den, pelt bristling slightly against the cold morning. Scanning the clearing he quickly spotted his Leader sitting upon the redwood stump, flicking his tail he approached claystar “good morning everyone!” he greeted with a dip of his head.

A groan left the sleek dark brown tabby shecat as she rolled in her nest, irritated that appleleap had woken her from such a nice dream, giving her head a shake she slowly rose to her paws; stretching as she did so. Once on her paws she gave herself a look over before shrugging her shoulders, not bothering to lick down the tufts of fur that stood in all directions, knowing appleleap or foxflight would fix it later like they always did. Stretching one last time she trotted happily from the warriors den, flicking her tail in greeting to anyone she passed on her way to the freshkill pile.

Claystar watched as Milkbird padded off, glad with his choice of Deputy. Milkbird had always been a very competent cat; he would have no hesitation leaving the clan to him in the future. The tom then turned to Littlerain, opening his maw to speak but closing it as Appleleap approached. He figured he wouldn’t get a morning chat alone with Littlerain; he was the Leader after all. Claystar dipped his head in response, making sure to also flick his tail in a quick greeting to the passing Brackenfang as well. “Good morning Appleleap, Littlerain.” Claystar replied with a deep purr. Hazel eyes turned back to Littlerain and he offered the she-cat a soft smile. “I slept alright, thank you for asking.” The tom replied, not wanting to be rude and ignore the she-cats question. “I hope you both had a got a good nights sleep as well. It’s a perfect day to get things done.” Claystar continued, turning to direct the both of them. His expression now returned to his regular stoic expression.
“The kill pile is a decent size for the moment, so please grab some nourishment. I’ll be sure to send out a hunting party later if either of you would like to go.” Claystar continued, eyeing the kill pile. Newleaf had always been the best time for the clan, the forest was lush and abundant.

Basilpaw rolled her eyes, shooting Beetlepaw a quick glare. “Yeah because it’s fun.” The she-cat retorted. “You’re telling me I find the perfect spot to sneak out from and I’m not supposed to use it? Come onnn guys, don’t you have any sense of adventure?” The cinnamon she-cat ranted, beginning to pace and recall her early morning adventure. “There was so much cool stuff out there! I almost caught the biggest mouse ever but this stupid stick got in the way.” The young cat grumbled, shaking her head. “Anyway, the fog was so thick and dense this morning I could barely see! It was so cool, I’m lucky I have a good sense of smell.” Basilpaw continued, not even aware of the danger she could have potentially put herself in. “Beetlepaw, Cloudpaw.” Basilpaw paused, turning to look at her brothers. “You guys have to come with me sometime. All we wanted to do as kits was explore and you two haven’t even come with me once.” Basilpaw complained, flicking her tail in annoyance.

”Oh absolutely! I’d be happy to help.” Apricotnose replied, giving Crystalmoon a warm smile. The she-cat paused for moment, thinking about the herb. “Bindweed…” She mumbled, faintly remembering gathering some in her apprentice days. “That would be the little white flowers right?” Apricotnose asked, turning her attention back to Crystalmoon. “I don’t want to accidentally grab the wrong plant.”

Greyheart paused at the fresh kill pile, surprised at how many of his clan-mates were now awake. Pale green eyes landed on Brackenfang, who was trotting over to the kill pile. The tom smirked slightly, noting her messy fur. Greyheart set down the vole and looked back at the she-cat, flicking his tail in greeting. “Good morning Brackenfang. Care for a vole?” He asked, motioning towards the freshly caught rodent.
