Cricket padded out of her den, her tail slowly swishing from side to side. Her pale amber eyes shone in the morning sun and her pretty dappled coat was covered in moss dust. She rasped her tongue across her jaws, and yawned loudly.

Broken padded out of her den and stratched in the sun, yawning. The teeth on her collar glistened in the light.

Killian sat near the warrior den. His striped pelt gleamed with health and his sharp fangs stuck out from under his lips slightly. He twitched his notched ear, and turned his head to glance at Cricket. He nodded shortly.

Cricket returned the nod and padded over to the fresh kill pile. She picked up a plump mouse and padded over to Broken. "Good morning," She mewed.
