Skyleaf let out a purr of amusement. "Okay I'll stop," she purred as she climbed out of the water. Her body was shaking with laughter when she finally calmed down. she laid in the sun and stared out at the river with peaceful eyes. "This is why I enjoy water. It's always peaceful and never changes. even when there's a storm it'll be as high as possible and moving extremly fast but by the end of it, it doesn't change." she mewed.

Eagleleap follwed her out and shook his pelt laying beside her. he watched the water. "not for me. I almost died in this river. my sister died in it. The storm hit it fast." do you see the small stream leading off from this one?" he mewed pointing to a small run off stream

Skyleaf licked Eagleleap's shoulder sympathetically. "Owlscreech and I lost all our brothers and sisters to a horrid storm. I actually hated water and for days I hated Eonclan for letting it happen to us. I had always been told that they watched over us, but if they had watched over us why did they let that happen? I was confused, tired, and angry. With the everything and everyone." she mewed. "But then one day I met Diamondstar and she taught me about Eonclan. Eventually my hatered lessed and lessed until nowadays I hardly ever remeber that day. And it was thanks to her that I'm deputy to this day," she mewed.

Eagleleap rested his tail on her. "I have always wondered that as well. but i realised that there is no use in dwelling on the past not when we have a future." he mewed. "Diamondstar is a great leader. She is a great symbol she does things wrong and doesn't try to be perfect. You have learned greatly from her and i would be proud to have you as leader once Diamondstar has passed. but before that i would be proud to be with you as warriors." he mewed embarrased

Skyleaf looked at Eagleleap and smiled. She'd smiled a lot of the time when she was with him. She licked his cheek gently and purred. "Thanks Eagle," she mewed. "I'm proud to have you as one of my warriors too,"

Eagleleap laughed but then turned serious. "it is a beautiful day." he mewed softly

"Yeah you're right," Skyleaf purred sleepily. she lazily batted at a dragonfly before she rested her head against Eagleleap's shoulder. "I hope this day never ends," she murmured.

Eagleleap looked at Skyleaf. "Skyleaf. i am really happy when i am with you and..... i don't want to lose you. Not by death, or by another tom." he mewed he was beading around the bush but he wasn't good at showing his feelings. ecspecially not those of love

Skyleaf looked up at Eagleleap, suddenly not feeling sleepy at all. Her heart was ahmmering through her chest, and suddenly her fur felt like it had been rubbed wrong, but in a good way. "So what is it that your trying to say," she asked softly.
