Hi I am probably just here to have this in my recent posts to lurk but I am axes and I have autism and misophonia. Misophonia's actually the one that really makes my life difficult. I wish they'd do more research on it and that it was better known because people just think I'm being abrasive or narcissistic when I get really angry or upset about certain sounds.

I don't really have a special interest honestly and I cannot relate to a lot of the autistic community because of that. It doesn't bother me much, but it makes me sad for other people like me who might be bothered by it. Just know if you are like me that you aren't alone.

hello!! i'm deane, and i'm autistic and struggle with obsessive compulsive tendencies and psychosis symptoms (i have been professionally evaluated but i have a rocky relationship with psychiatry in general and have found no use or comfort in assigning labels to these kind of symptoms. its complicated lol) my special interests include pokemon, ecology and environmental study, frogs, sea slugs, and everything vocaloid!!
i use all pronouns! also, i'm excited to be a part of the group and would love to chat with y'all : )

Hello, my name is Cryptid or Angel (any other name works fine too). I use all pronouns with a preference for it/its and neopronouns.

I heavily suspect myself of having autism, especially since I seem to have a few symptoms and autistic friends and my friend who works with autistic children on a regular basis say it’s very, very likely I have low support needs autism. At this point, I’m self dxing myself with it because all of the evidence just adds up. I have also once been diagnosed with ADD (I know it’s an outdated term but that’s what my doctor said at the time) when I was a kid, but that diagnosis was then taken away, so I dunno if I do or don’t have ADHD, or anything else for that matter.

I really, REALLY love Welcome Home, especially Wally as you can see by my pfp lol. I also just love video games, fantasy books, horror, and art. I’m a furry and my fursona is a purple opossum named Cherrybomb. :3
