Pound lag getting worse?

i thought it was just me today!! took ages to load and errored out with every refresh. by the time i clicked on my first few pets they were already gone,, and they were on my 4th or 5th page

i wonder if avoiding opening the pound at peak times during the event would help avoid the lag?? but i get that they also want more ppl online so more people have a chance at a pet,,

the last two pound openings for me have been awful. The lagging is terrible and also most of the pets have gone before I've even had a chance to choose.I've ended up with nothing again

I’ve only really noticed it getting worse since the event started I think yesterday was the worst but to be fair there where over 3000 people online, and tonight there where a little over 2000 I think, it makes a bit of sense with there being like 1500(maybe more but ive only ever seen a little over that) pets in the pound and it opening when that many people are on a lot of those people are going to want to get something from the pound, it sucks but not everyone is going to be able to get something when that happens the only way to fix that might be to add more to the pound but I don’t think that’ll happen

my page froze everytime i clicked a pet, and it just errored out. id have to close the browser and come back. did it 4 times. and eventually they were all gone, i couldnt even get a omgsc.

its just the event, lots of traffic.

it's also a factor of not enough pets being released, especially for the high player count during events.

Yeah I struggled just to get the first page of pets to load and I saw a nick rat I would have really really loved, missed it and after about a minute of trying to get back to the pound page every single pet from that page was gone, refreshed and the whole pound was shut it's the first time in like a year that I've been around for the pound opening and not gotten a single pet, thought it was my wifi at first!

i honestly think its mostly due to the large amount of players (around 3k the last two days) being online during rollover, i havent had any noticeable issue with the pound outside of the past two nights at around this time

I completely agree. This pound lag is getting so bad its ridiculous. Chicken Smoothie really needs to do something about it. I had to leave my page completely and then come back. I hope this issue can get resolved.

This was the second pound i've participated in since the update (the first one being yesterdays around the same time) and I wasn't able to get a single pet from either of them. The lag was so bad that by the time I loaded in the first page was gone, by the time I loaded the second page it was either already gone or I'd manage to click a pet, but then it would have 15 seconds to load the "sorry this pet is already taken" page and then take another 15 seconds to get back to the pound, in which the next page would be gone.

I've literally never experienced lag like this on the pound.

I didn't get anything from pound this time but when the Americans are asleep and there's less people I cna usually nab an uncommon. There's a looot of players on right now, rip

Mine lagged for about 10 seconds earlier. I kept trying to reopen the pound page to get it to come back but it wouldn't work. I had to click on a random CS page and then back to the pound. There was about 800 pets left when I finally got a 2017 common when there was a 2014 rare-VR on the page. I was refreshing the page from the 2 minute countdown to 2 seconds when it lagged. I have great WiFi and it has never lagged this badly before.
