Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

"I think I should tell you that she can kick your scrawny backside three times around the deck before breakfast," whispered Melody, tugging on Jack's sleeve. "She beat off some of the guards that killed Darius a few days back- you shoulda seen it! Ain't like no boxer I ever saw- she can weave in an' out an' ne'er be hit!" The cabin girl's red hair was twirled into a loose braid on top of her head, and she stepped back to give the new crew-member a polite curtsy. "I'm Melody Sharpe, and this lad here's Rodney Finch. We're th' youngest on deck, so I guess we gotta do all the showing around an' all that."

Jack nodded to her and smiled a bit. It was hard to put on any facial expression with how shocked he was. He guessed right when he thought she was quick. He looked back over at her and then put on a real smile "I'll beat her." he said looking back at Melody "Eventually." he added. He put that thought aside and looked down at them "It's nice to meet you Melody." he said with a nice smile "So how's about that tour."

"Which parts of the ship d'you wanna see first?" asked Rodney, looking up at Jack. Rodney didn't like being so small. He was a pirate, he wasn't meant to be scrawny and tiny. He was meant to be and strong, then again, being of such ayoung age, Rodney couldn't really expect much better.

Ingo nodded to Indigo, then went below deck. She looked around quickly and spotted Emerald and Sinbad, "Cap'n wants you two up deck," sai Ingo, poking her head round the doorway.

Jack shrugged "Uhh I'm not shure." he did actually know that much about ships. (Crap I can't think of anything)

"Well, we'll start at the start and end at the end, then." said Melody cheerfully. "This here's the main deck," she said, turning to gesture at it. "Stern, bow, port and starboard." Back, front, right and left, respectively. "Mast in the middle- hard to miss, that- with a crow's nest on top for a lookout. At the stern, those stairs deck up to the poop deck, and that's where the wheel is. Below that, there's the captain's quarters, and below those are the crew's quarters. We all sleep together, in hammocks. Guys on the left, girls on the right." She turned around, so she was facing the bow. "That there's the bow deck, stairs up to a forward lookout. Below that is the galley." She turned back with a smile, red hair fanning out around her shoulders. "That's the main deck- we've two more below."

Jack blinked as she fired a load of in formation at him, it was dificult to keep up "Ok so port...bow...stern...starbord." he muttered to himself pointing to each "I think i got it." he said looking back at her with a smile. It was weird being showed up by a kid like this but it was a feeling that soon went away "Whats in the decks below?" he asked her.

"Well, I can tell you, but it will be easier if we just go there." She laughed and put an arm around Rodney's shoulders, steering him in front of their new crewmate and towards the stairs that led to the belowdecks.

Jack followed be hind them. The way she made it sound was like there was something cool down here. Maby it was a bunch of treasure or something. He couldnt think all that much he was excited. He couldnt beleave he had finaly made it aboard a pirate ship. Now no more living on his own, and having to sleep in the alleys. He could tell this was going to be fun.
