my mom almost named me Mason so that would've been cool, but i'd honestly keep my current name. it's pretty androgynous anyway (more than Mason but not feminine) and i think it suits me ^^ [won't share it online, srry </3]

v what's the last book you read?

some kind of dragon book i cannot mention here, i didnt enjoy it once so ever it was just like nails on a chalkboard. had good ideas but just poor execution. it felt like it was trying too hard to just skip to the romantic parts. the plot was supposed to have me on edge but it had me near asleep.
but for non reading books i was listening to warrior cats a dangerous path on our local libraries audio book format ahah

PULP FICTION. my fav of all time. but i have some other recs!!
the thing (1982), it's like among us irl but its amazing (but a warning - it's dated and they say mean things sometimes)
children of men, it has the most incredible long-take i've ever seen in any movie before. also, an incredible story of a mother & child being escorted to safety in the midst of human extinction. SUPER cool movie.
the DND movie, SO SO GOOD and such a warm watch. super light movie that is engaging and makes you giggle!! i really enjoyed watching it, and just watched it again recently. it's a story of a guy trying to get to his daughter, making friends along the way, and eventually trying to topple the government? it's a great time. highly recommend.
lastly, fnaf movie. it's so silly. i love that movie.

^ !!!!! get your hair cut!!!! i hated having long hair (although it's still on the longer side now) but oh my god does it feel so freeing to take some inches off. whatever you go with, i'm sure you'll rock it, though!

v why do you think it’s hard to let go of the past?

Maybe a reason is because the past is known, it's familiar and typically comfortable. We have lived through the past already, and we remember the things we did and the feelings we felt then. Even if not all memories are good ones, even if you're in a scenario where most of them are bad, it's still what you know, and what you use to base your world view off of. And if they're mostly good, then it's harder to let go of comfortable, positive feelings we felt during those times. People reminisce and wish they were kids again, only because we missed how free we felt as kids. No worries about bills, the weight of time passing by didn't register yet. You were free. And now, you're older, and life is marching on and dragging you with it. You can't face the future, probably because it's easier to try and replicate what you felt long ago when things were nice/not nice. The unknown is much scarier than the known.

But I mean, that's just my theory so whatever. We need to remember to try and live in the moment and savor what we have left. I am more than guilty of taking everything for granted and letting days, weeks, months, years pass without doing anything to enrich the experience.

tough question because i feel like i prefer smaller and cozier spaces... i guess if i had the money for a mansion i'd also have the money to install some fancy fishtanks in there and a lot of space for pampered cats to run around... and walls full of pretty paintings idk

OH THATS A HARD QUESTUON if I want to be indulgent I'd say the oarfish because they're my favorite and I like the idea of bringing omens. But to be real I feel like a bass.... maybe a catfish. Actually yeah probably a catfish. Not a cool Wales catfish or nothing just. Catfish.
