riddled with anxiety and being rather socially inept,
lavender is a bit of a puzzling individual. though she's
had a relatively easy past, she seems plagued with
anxiety and trauma through and through. lav is overly
timid around new dogs, even flinching around those she
knows and trusts as much as she can. unadaptable,
she struggles to cope with change whether it be her
environment or socially. this retriever is the last to
make a decision or take initiative. if no one were looking
out for her she'd be content laying in a wasteland
until she withered away, not daring to stand up and
try to survive due to cowardice. she's sensitive and
though often doesn't seem logical, she's rather clever
when given a challenge and has no problem solving
issues. though the hard part is getting her to take
initiative with these ideas and solutions. she wants to face
her fears but hasn't found the strength to do so yet and
isn't sure if she ever will. deeply insecure she is often looking
for comfort in any face she finds. overall she has a good
heart but a troubled mind.

often eaten up by resentment and occasionally even hatred,
if you've done her wrong you will know it. it's hard to gain her trust
back whether what was done was inherently wrong or not. whether
you simply disagreed with her opinion, or insulted her entire family
lineage, she treats all offences the same- being perpetually offended
she's sensitive in this way, but by no means a crybaby. despite being
easy to offend, she is relatively neutral when it comes to strangers
and gives the same energy and respect back to them that they show
towards her. open to friends and relationships, its only a matter of
time until you'll
be berated for your wrongdoings. with a social disposition, most
dogs dont expect this unforgiving nature right away. which causes
them to become close to her and the second they rub her the wrong
way or step out of line, they're in for it. never seeing it coming. she
has strong morals and won't back down when challenged. self sufficient,
sometimes too much as she won't allow anyone to help her when needed.
even in the most dire circumstances she doesn't dare to ask for help.

this world is difficult for this young dog, to say the least. it seems
everything he comes across socially is a major challenge for him.
there's often two sides you can find in banshee. he's often high
strung no matter who he's with and with so much energy you'd
think he's bouncing off the walls without a care in the world.
that can be true occasionally, but more often his energy manifests
into frantic behavior and immense anxiety. this is a demeanor that throws
most, if not all dogs off. he can seem like an odd ball to anyone that
meets him. when around one or two trusted friends he is boisterous
and talkative. even playful. those with enough patience
to earn his trust enjoy his fun-loving nature and those he does
trust will absolutely know it. he's a completely different dog
in those scenarios... but the second someone he's afraid of enters
the picture his energy shifts. banshee can seem almost performative
at times, doing his absolute best to stay on the good side of everyone.
giving endless praise to those who scare him, to stay on their good side.
he would never speak anything negative aloud for fear of his safety. his
instincts keep him safe, but are always working in overtime. causing him
to see a possibility of pain and death in any complication. his behavior
unpredictable in its quickly changing nature and doing whatever he can
to avoid conflict. often carrying negative energy, he finds it hard to sit still in
any situation. even around his friends. banshee is fidgety, often speaking
so quickly that barely anyone can understand his ramblings when he has
something on his mind. banshee does have his uses, when he's alone he
finds outlets for his pent up energy and is an excellent bird dog. a skilled
swimmer, and an incredible tracker. if he needs to help others, he is
sensible enough to recognize his tuned instincts can be of benefit.
the pack could use his skills with some pushing. he does like company
and despite his fearfulness, he is oddly sociable once he's scoped
you out. although nervous for his safety around the more gruff dogs
in the pack, he oddly is more likely to get in their space and
unintentionally bother them in an attempt to become liked by them
than just simply avoiding them. if he can become a friend to
all, he figures he'll be protected by those even he finds intimidating.
although his fear drives most of his actions, others can find him
weirdly extroverted at times because of this need of survival.
