"noch" is a german filler word. i'm not a native speaker, but i learned a bit in high school because i have a heavily german ethnic background. "noch" is a bit difficult to translate into english, but people say it's a lot like the words "still", "yet" or "more". it's generally used to induce a certain tone.

it's a bit of a weird translation but i always liked the word in the phrase "immer noch" which means "still" with a bit of added emphasis with "noch" connected to it.
