How much different this year has been compared to what I projected it to be like. It's a great thing though.

^ I never really liked demon slayer but it always sucks to have high hopes for something and be let down, I hope the other movies are good!

v what's your absolute favourite book to series/movie scenario?

probably what's going on with percy jackson series rn tbh - the original creator being directly involved and getting a say/the Final say in everything happening, including the casting. also i think another good thing is when it's adapted 1:1 - like not leaving any plot points out, covering nearly everything that happens in the book, etc etc.

oh! oh! so many things!!!! i really want to continue watching northern exposure-- my dad got the first season on dvd at a local store a month back or so, and although the premise seemed weirdly simple i ended up loving it personally. it scratches an itch for me, it's funny in ways i don't expect and i really hope i can find the time to continue it.

^ ayo!! nimona was a great movie! i have some mixed feelings about the percy jackson adaptation personally but i need to finish the series in order to solidify my thoughts :V

last week i had some really long nights out with a good friend of mine that were super fun. we had a looot of heart to heart conversations that were sorely needed for the both of us and it felt good to let some stuff out. we are, with a third friend of ours, planning on moving abroad this year, and living together, so it was just so much fun to spend 1:1 time together with her!!? we just generally go really well along and i'm not even a bit surprised she's one of the two friends i'm going to end up moving in with hahah

my weekend was so friend-ful it was really nice!! i finally watched but i'm a cheerleader with two of my good friends and we had a sleepover. it was like. the exact energy boost i needed for the week. also went to a local show with a couple friends and met some new people there and just >>> 10/10!!

^ omg. i have such a great story about northern exposure. my family loves it so much that apparently when my mom was in labor with my sister (in 1992), she put off going to the hospital so she could finish watching the episode where they fling the piano. idk how true this is really LMAO but this is to say good taste!! also good luck with your busy day tomorrow and have fun with drawing :-)

v what's a fun/interesting family story of yours?

i absolutely love hearing family stories from my mom,
it makes me so happy and i remember all of them so well.
theres just so many from her childhood that are so funny.

something that involves me that i find interesting
is that me and my cousin were born on the exact same day,
near the same time. not planned and our due dates weren't
very close either, definitely not enough to be on the same
day. anyways, my mom stayed at a hospital on one side of
town and my aunt was giving birth on the other side of town,
so my entire family was scrambling back and forth and my uncle
was speeding on his motorcycle to see us both asap. we had alot
of birthday parties together growing up, lol. that visual of
my uncle hauling a** on his motorcycle is so funny.

it would be a pokemon TBH. i love dogs and i have a family dog but atp im probably not responsible enough to take care of any animal on my own so i dont plan on having pets when i move out..but if pokemon were real i would have one.
