Peggy and her boyfriend Tommy were driving down a lonely stretch of highway at dusk when a thunderstorm came crashing down on them. Tommy slowed the car and they crept their way past a formidable abandoned house. Plastered all over the fences and trees were no trespassing signs.
A mile past the house, the car hydroplaned. Peggy screamed as the car slid off the road, plunging down into a gully. The car slammed into a large boulder, throwing Peggy violently into the door, before it came to a rest under a pecan tree. Her head banged against the window, and a stabbing pain shot through her shoulder and arm.
Tommy turned to her. “Are you all right? You’re bleeding!”
“Arm, shoulder. Feel bad,” Peggy managed to gasp.
Tommy glanced cautiously at her right arm. “I think your arm is broken,” he said, and he tore a strip off his shirt and pressed it to the cut on her head. “I’m going to call for help,” he said when it became obvious that the bleeding was not going to stop right away. But neither of them had their cell phones.
“That house we just passed will have a phone I can use.” Tommy said.
Peggy’s eyes popped wide open at this statement. Despite her pain, she remembered the creepy abandoned house. “Stay here. A . . . car . . . will come,”
“I can’t stay, Peggy,” Tommy said, “It could take hours for another car to come, and you‘re losing too much blood.” He tore another strip of his shirt and placed it gently on the cut on her head. Then he went out and retrieved a couple of blankets from the trunk to cover her with. “I’ll be back as soon as I can.” He raced out into the storm, shutting the dented car door behind him.
Peggy drifted in a kind of daze. Something at the back of her mind was making her uneasy. She slid down on to the floor and put her head on the seat, completely covering herself with the blankets, head and all. Feeling safer, she allowed the weariness caused by the wounds to take over and fell asleep.
Peggy wasn’t sure what woke her. Had a beam of light shown briefly through the blanket? Did she hear someone curse outside? She strained eyes and ears, but heard nothing save the soft thudding of the rain, and no light shown through the blanket now. If Tommy had arrived with the rescue squad, there surely would be noise and light and many voices. But she heard nothing save the swish of the rain and an occasional thumping noise which she put down to the rubbing of the branches of the pecan tree in the wind. The sound should have been comforting, but it was not. Goosebumps crawled across her arms – even the broken one -- and she almost ceased breathing for some time as some deep part of her inner mind instructed her to freeze and not make a sound.
She did not know how long fear kept her immobile. But suddenly the raw terror ceased, replaced by cold shivers of apprehension and a sick coil in her stomach that had nothing to do with her injuries. Something terrible had happened, she thought wearily, fear adding yet more fatigue to her already wounded body. Then she scolded herself for a ninny. It was just her sore head making her imagine things. Somewhat comforted by this thought, she dozed again, only vaguely aware of a new sound that had not been there before; a soft thud-thud sound as of something gently tapping the roof. Thud-thud. Pattering of the rain. Thud-thud. Silence. Sometimes she would almost waken and listen to it in a puzzled manner. Thud-thud. Patter of rain. Thud-thud. Had a branch dislodged from the tree?
Peggy wasn’t sure how long she’d been unconscious when she was awakened by a bright light blazing through the window of the car and the sound of male voices exclaiming in horror. A door was wrenched open, and someone crawled inside. She lifted her head and looked up at a young state policeman.
“Miss, are you all right?” he asked and then turned over his shoulder to call for help. Peggy told the officers her story and begged them to look for Tommy. They deftly avoided answering her and instead called the paramedics.
As the paramedics carried her carefully up the slope of the incline, Peggy looked back at the car—and saw a grotesque figure hanging from a branch of the pecan tree. For a moment, her brain couldn’t decipher what she was seeing in the bright lights of the police car parked at the side of the road. Then she heard a thud-thud sound as the foot of the figure scraped the top of the totaled car, and she started screaming over and over in horror. One of the police officers hastened to block her view and a paramedic fumbled for some valium to give her as her mind finally registered what she had seen. Tommy’s mangled, dead body was hanging from the pecan tree just above the car, and nailed to the center of his chest was a No Trespassing sign.

The Choking Doberman

My cousin and his wife lived in Sydney with this huge doberman in a little apartment off Maroubra Road. One night they went out for dinner and a spot of clubbing. By the time they got home it was late and my cousin was more than a little drunk. They got in the door and were greeted by the dog choking to death in the loungeroom.

My cousin just fainted, but his wife rang the veterinarian, who was an old family friend of hers, and got her to agree to meet her at the surgery. The wife drives over and drops off the dog, but decides that she'd better go home and get her hubby into bed.

She gets home and finally slaps my cousin into consciousness, but he's still drunk. It takes her almost half an hour to get him up the stairs, and then the phone rings. She's tempted to just leave it, but she decides that it must be important or they wouldn't be ringing that late at night. As soon as she picks up the phone, she hears the vet's voice screaming out:

"Thank God I got you in time! Leave the house! Now! No time to explain!" Then the vet hangs up.

Because she's such an old family friend, the wife trusts her, and so she starts getting the hubby down the stairs and out of the house. By the time they've made it all the way out, the police are outside. They rush up the front stairs past the couple and into the house, but my cousin's wife still doesn't have a clue what's going on.

The vet shows up and says, "Have they got him? Have they got him?"

"Have they got who?" says the wife, starting to get really pissed off.

"Well, I found out what the dog was choking on – it was a human finger."

Just then the police drag out a dirty, stubbly man who is bleeding profusely from one hand. "Hey Sarge," one of them yells. "We found him in the bedroom."

This one scared the crap outta me!
I actually ran around and checked the house for a dude with no finger!!

Dude. My family used to give me dolls all the time. I would put them in a box, and they would eventually just....Poof. One day I was looking for a doll I had so I could throw it out. But till this day I never found it. e_e. And dolls are scary. You can make their eyes go backwards. My friend did that to one and left it in MY HOUSE. It stared at me, day after day, until I got the courage to throw it away XD. And I have piles of stuffed aniamls all over my room XD.

I like this poem for people who have huge Teddy bears in their room >:3

My Teddy bear is 6feet tall.
It's stands there slumped against the wall...
at knight it unzips it's furry skin....
And out steps out something tall and thin.

And here's a story I found.

The thing wearing mommys skin.
A little girl opened her parents bedroom door.
Her father saw his daughter small figure by the doorway a bit blurry. He looked at the clock it showed 3:25 am "Honey what's wrong?" he asked
The little girl "I had a nightmare." she said
The dad said "Want too tell daddy about it and lay on the bed."
"No." came the answer. When he heard the answer he woke up fully.
"Why not sweetie?" he asked
The little girl began to cry "Because when I told you about my nihtmare the thing wearing mommys skin woke up." she said crying. The dad froze and stared at his daughter then the covers behind him began to shift......

I LOVE scary stories!!

Terror House:

Rumor had it that the house on top of the hill was haunted. Local children called it “Terror House”. The former owner had been murdered in a horrible manner by a gang of thieves. Supposedly, the old man had a huge fortune, a wooden chest full of precious gems hidden somewhere in the house.

The thieves broke into the house one night and tried to force the man to reveal where his treasure was hidden. But the old man was a stubborn sort and refused to tell them where the chest was located. The thieves eventually chopped him up into little pieces and threw the remains into the fireplace.

Legend had it that, every Halloween night, at the stroke of midnight, the old man’s ghost would appear, falling down the chimney piece by piece. It was said that if you waited there long enough, the old man’s body would reassemble itself and his ghost would point to the location of the treasure. Unfortunately, no one had ever been brave enough to sit there and watch the ghastly scene to the end.

One halloween, when two young kids named Chad and Roberta were at school, when they heard their friends talking about the legend of Terror House and the old man’s ghost. They had heard the story a number of times over the years. The two kids claimed they didn’t believe Terror House was really haunted. Their friends challenged them to prove it. They dared Chad and Roberta to spend the night in the haunted house.

That night, their friends waited in the driveway as the two kids walked up the driveway of the haunted house and stood on the porch. Chad found a window that was loose and forced it open. He climbed in and Roberta followed him, carrying a flashlight.

Inside the house, the atmosphere was eerie and forboding. It looked like no one had been there for years. The furniture was draped with white sheets and cobwebs were covering every surface. The two kids found a spot near the chimney, spread out their sleeping bags and settled down to wait until the clock struck midnight.

The house was quiet until the town clock chimed twelve. At once, they heard a thunderous rumbling coming from the fireplace. A hazy, yellow light began to emanate from the fireplace, shining on the floor in front of them. Chad turned to Roberta and grabbed her hand. They were both trembling with fear.

Suddenly, there came a hideous noise that sounded like a splat. It seemed as if something had fallen down the chimney and landed on the stone hearth below. Looking closer, the pair saw thjat it was a severed leg.

Roberta let out a piercing scream. They heard another fleshy thumping sound and another severed leg appeared on top of its mate. Chad squeezed Roberta’s hand tightly, as he started to sob with terror. Then an arm flopped down on top of the other limbs. There was a huge wet thud as a torso hit the pile. Finally, a head tumbled down the chimney and landed on the heap of body parts. It balanced on top of them like a cherry on an ice cream sundae.

Chad and Roberta were were clutching each other in silent terror. The body parts began crawling across the floor and gradually assembled themselves into a full figure. Then, the corpse of the old man, quietly stood up and crept towards the terrified children. His arm extended and he pointed straight at them.

The kids who were waiting outside heard unearthly screams coming from the haunted house. They were too frightened to go inside, so they remained outside the gate until sunrise. When it grew bright enough, they finally summoned the courage to go into the house and find their friends.

They climbed in the window and saw a large wooden chest sitting in front of the fireplace. Excited, the ran over to it and found that the chest was filled to the brim with precious gems. Then they recoiled in horror when they noticed two sets of legs poking out from under the chest. They pulled the heavy wooden chest back to reveal the crushed bodies of Chad and Roberta lying squashed underneath.
