Refreshing like a hundred times in a minute makes your hand pretty sore.
So if you go to the Pound page before its open, it should look like this:

The Pound is opening in: 59 seconds.

When you refresh it, it would say 58 seconds, then 57, and so on.
Unfortunately, theres a limit to how many times you can refresh in a matter of a minute or so, then you have to take a 3-4 second break (for me on my computer at least)
With the new pound timer, it would say this:

After one second, it would automatically tick to 58, then 57, and so forth.
I think this would help people get better luck in the pound, and also refreshing so much in hopes of a rare pet makes my hands sore :<
