Rules + general
-Please make sure to read through all rules before submitting a form!
-A werm cannot be changed once you submit your form. (Unless there was a mistake on our part with a wrong color/trait, in which case we will give you a fixed version).
-You may not edit forms. If there is a mistake/typo in your user/ID/links then you may quote or repost your form with the appropriate fixes. You may not edit any details about a werm you're making once you have submitted your form (ex. submitting a form using cyan dye, but then later changing it to olive).
-While the creation of “double” werms is inevitable, attempting to make a werm with the explicit intention of copying someone’s pre-existing oc/werm/design is not allowed when making a werm using the generator. This includes using an image of someone else's werm as a guide/example without their permission. These will be judged on a case to case basis if the situation arises.
-Making werms with the sole intention of foddering/selling them off is not allowed. If you are found to be doing this you will no longer be able to use crafting.
-You may make a werm once per month. There is no limit on how many items you craft. Some special items may have their own cooldown.
-Werms made with the generator have a 3 day cooldown before they can be traded. They cannot be “litterswapped” before this cooldown. (Other regular trading rules also apply)
-Crafted items may be traded + gifted. You cannot trade crafted items for any form of real life currency.
-Werms made with the generator are not considered of the same litter/litter mates, and can be bred with each other.
-Crafting an item does not need an approval post; as long as the form is posted with the correct info, you can update your archive accordingly! However, you must wait until your werm is officiated and given an ID in an approval post from staff before adding them to your archive.
-If using custom dye, you must provide a hex/s or block of solid color/s. Using a moodboard, inspiration photo/image (ex. a photo of a jaguar) or entirely text based (ex. only writing "bright purple") is not allowed- be as straight forward and specific as you can!
>You can specify multiple colors for traits that have varying colors/areas (ex. trisnake), but you cannot ask for gradients or multiple colors (ex. asking for a "blue to yellow gradient" on a basic werm.)
-Please be aware of what colors need a specialised dye! If you try and use a general dye for a special color, you will be asked to edit your form and either use the relevant special dye or choose a general color.
-Once you’ve got all the items/materials you need to craft your desired werm/item, fill out the and submit the appropriate form in the craft section!
-If you are making a werm, once you have submitted your form, a member of staff will “officiate” them and post a mass batch of them with a shiny new ID (similar to birthday werms)- once this is posted, this werm can be added to your archive!

Item I'm crafting:
Proof I own the ingredient/s:
-For proof of items from scavenging, either links to where you received the item or your archive (must be updated to accurately record your ownership of relevant items) will do.
What you need:
-x1 Werm carving - needed to create a werm.
-x1 Ocular orb - used to choose the color of a werms eye. (Can be either basic or specialty colors, does not need dye).
-Up to x3 dyes- used to choose the color of a werms trait. (can be all or a combination of simple, specialty and/or custom dyes. Check the key below for which colors are available for use with simple dye, and which require a specialty dye.)
-Up to x3 trait gems - (Must be up to one of each primary, secondary and tertiary trait crystals) Used to choose the traits a werm has. Each trait has its own respective gem.
-An extra x1 custom dye can be provided in order to dye any part of the werm’s lineart (this includes any tertiary traits, such as butterfly, that have their own lines). This part is completely optional, by default (with no dye) the lines will be the same as what they look like in the previewer.
-Using trait gems and dye is optional- not using one on a prim/sec/tert will result in the respective prim/sec/tert trait being basic. If you do not use a dye for each prim/sec/tert trait, it will be a random basic color (ex. if you use a dye for its primary and secondary colors but do not use dye on the tertiary color, the tertiary color will be randomised.)- while it is still optional, we do not recommend it. (remember- once made, you cannot change the way the werm looks!)
