Crendor stares at the now-sleeping goob he had come to ask for help with waking the sleeping agel on his back, but instead of hope he feels despair. How could they hope to wake everyone up if the ones meant to help willingly went to sleep without a known way to get up soon?? Before his panic fully sets in, he breathes in and out, moving out of the way so he could set Billie against a wall for a moment while he figured out his next steps. Bram and Rune would figure things out, or at least are confident with this way forward. He just has to trust them.

Sipping at his tea, he looks around and takes stock of the other goobs, both awake and asleep. Everyone seems to be in various states of the stages of grief. Many seemed to be in shock. Well, those who were awake of course. The sleeping goobs numbered mostly in the agels, but a handful of diabs proved his suspicion. He wasn't safe either. A shiver went down his spine and he turned his gaze back to his tea, the ripples calming him again. He heard calls for explorers, and wondered if he should join, if it was safe to leave Billie here without any ideas of her state.

He looked at her again, the familiar flutter lighting up his chest as his breath catches. They had been at a shoot earlier when things went down, and her normally perfect hair was disheveled. She looks peaceful in her sleep, no wounds grace her body; for all intents and purposes she was asleep. Perhaps he could leave her here, for a time, and at least make himself useful until he had a better idea of what to do.

Looking around again, now with purpose and direction, he spots two familar faces, nodding in acknowledgement. After checking with a nearby group and leaving Billie under their watch he made his way over.

Charlotte and Elm welcome him into their group, bringing him up to speed on their options...

sawyer sat down as they tried to make sense of everything. what was that? did every single agel fall asleep? they stand up again and start pacing. they dont even notice it when a fellow goobie tries to make them calm down. worry starts to seep in as they think about the consequences of agels never waking up again. their quills stick out more than usual as they sit back down again.

Bubs runs and runs for what seems like forever until he stumbles upon a herd of goobies who seem to be just as distressed as he is.

Not knowing what else he could possibly do, he joins the crowd. Following them to wherever it was they were headed. Hopefully, once they had found shelter, there'd be someone who could help Reese.

His goo starts to ache as they all finally reach what seems to be a lap of some sorts. He feels he should recognise the two who open the door but he can't put a finger on who they are.

His mind is too worried about how friend still.

So while all the other goobies question and accept quests from the science goobies, bubs wanders around to find a safe place to leave Reese.

Bubs would help with the quests but only after he made sure Reese was safe. He didn't want her to be in harms way while he went out to explore.

At least he think he heard someone mentioning exploring.

After searching the room, he found a nice counter space that had some weird colored tubey things laid out in wooden holders next to it.

He first took off his bag and laid it down on the free space before gently placing Reese on top. Making her a small bed out of the bag. He hoped to the Gob that she would be okay.

Much to Hyena's surprise, Bram had fallen asleep almost as quickly as he had drunk(?) the vial of black tar. Rune looked at Hyena with an almost-crazed sense of urgency.
"Okay, okay, dreams to shatter," he mumbled, nodding.
He took a deep breath and looked at the maps laid out in front of him. Maybe collecting some ingredients would be helpful for the journey and possible battle later? But on the other hand, the specimen seemed to be quite feisty, and maybe it would be wise to observe it sooner rather than later...
With a notebook and pen in hand, Hyena thanked Rune for his help and set out for the day. Outside, crowds of goobies were running desperately, and it was so difficult to understand the cause of the commotion. Total chaos enveloped the land, some kind of disease spreading roots of evil.
He decided to collect ingredients first, and then observe the specimen afterwards. But what were they going to do about all the agels fast asleep? And what about the growing piles of asleep diabs? Though he was eager to help, Hyena just couldn't shake the feeling that something was deeply, deeply wrong. Something that would not be able to be ignored much longer...

Cookie scrambles to grab a map, in hopes of not getting lost. "Hmm... Since the girls aren't awake yet I... I guess I can try to tag along with a group?" He thought to themself, anxiety coating his goo.

cass sits and watches bram closely, concern blatantly plastered across her face. why did bram have to sleep? why did the black goo make everyone sleep? and what did rune mean by shattering dreams? cass kept a close eye on bram, worried that he would suddenly stop breathing, or maybe hopeful that he would suddenly wake up.

cass supposed they might as well be useful, and go gather ingredients (what kind? for what purpose?). gather first, observe second. in case the ingredients ended up being useful for the specimen, somehow...

cass waded through the sleeping goobies that littered the ground, making their way to wherever this map was showing.

Felicity lurched away from Naomi's sleeping form. The stabbing pain in her head came back tenfold. She blinked as the pain faded but felt immensely tired herself now. Felicity looked at Naomi through blurry eyes. Whatever had put her to sleep was strong and did not like being poked.

Slowly Felicity got to her feet, one paw at a time. She couldn't shake the tiredness, but had heard a commotion outside. Taking careful steps, Felicity was outside the castle once more where she saw a lot of goobies heading somewhere. She heard some voices mention Jystyr then Rune and Bram.

Smart. Why didn't I think of that? Felicity thought as she decided to join their ranks. She would have to come back to help Naomi, after all there was no moving her.

After reaching the scientists home, Felicity decided she would best be suited to gathering some ingredients in her current state. Plus she was worried examining the creature would be worse for her current mental health.

Looking over the maps, Felicity decided that the in-betweens seemed like the right place to go. It wouldn't be until Felicity reached her destination that she would realize she was headed towards where the droning noise was louder.

Tanzi could feel herself growing tired as she carried the sleeping fox goobie into the cafe. She could tell if she had been outside too much longer, she would have been in need of saving. As she laid Blizzard down in a booth, Tanzi noticed it had grown quiet in the down. The panic was dying down and those around her were beginning to ask questions or propose solutions. Tanzi sat in the booth across from Blizz and close her eyes for a moment to try and fend off the drowsiness.

Tanzi was beginning to drift off to sleep when she heard some mumbling, "Who we... ...se sci....ists?"

"Bram!" "Rune!" Two different goobies shouted at once startling Tanzi awake. Becoming aware of what almost happened to her, Tanzi splashed some water in her face while others began prepping to visit the scientists. Still feeling the drowsiness trying to overcome her, Tanzi decided she should carry Blizz to Rune and Bram.
