It wasn't a lion in 2012, it was a PPS horse foal. This guy:

Just the usual uber hype over the in demand pet.
It's always been a thing and it's not just the popular species who falls victim to it. It's just absolutely bonkers nowadays, especially for the most popular species like dragons and lions. I've grown to despise dragons and lions for this simple reason. Love the linearts but people have ruined them for me. Still missing the dragon moon egg like everybody else and I've given up looking for it until it's in the archive. I am absolutely not sacrificing my left arm for a new rare. If it's even rare at all. I just hate the hype and it still breaks my heart that they're gonna sprinkle actual rares into the regulars now

Anyways... Rant over.
Can't wait for rollover, Valentines is always one of my fave smaller events, gotta love me some pink pets!
