"I might be a threat to you though," joked Rodney, getting into a sort of mock-boxing position. He did little jumps back and forth grinning at jack, once he had got over his intial lack of trust, he actually liked this Jack person.

Jack looked down at Rodney and smiled "Oh really. You think you can take me on shrimp?" he moked. He put up his hand like he was going to fight but he was joking. He liked how he already had two friends on the crew...well that's what it seemed like anyways.

"Yeah, I'll take you on," he said, then dropped his fists, still smiling and giggling. Rodney Fiinch was his name, and Jack had just called him shrimp. It was deadly appropriate, this short scrawny boy, Initials R.Finch. It's not the best if you're a shorty.

"Alright, you two, break it up," said Indigo, with a quiet chuckle, getting jokingly in between Jack and the shorter Rodney. "If you're going to pick fights," she said with a smile, "You'd best try somebody your own size." She held up her fists mockingly, but this was just another test. Would he strike out hard, to try and fell her and pretend it was an accident? How sly and tricky could this young man be?

"Oi," saidRodney and pouted, then he scurried over to Ingo. She just chuckled at him, then went back to watching Indigo and jack. She had her arm round the little boy and he was sort of nestled into her side.

Jack looked at her as she got in place of Rodney "Well im still not fighting someone my own size." he said with a chuckle. She was taller than Rodney but she was still probably a head shorter than him. "But I was already sluged in the face today and i dont feel like having it happen again." He stood up right and put one hand down, rubbing his sore with the other. "Maby we could spar another time." he wasnt to shure if he would win anyways, he may be bigger but she probably has more experiance than him and shes quicker.

Indigo stood tall and nodded- he would make a good crew member. Loyal, with a level head, not picking fights with somebody who provoked him. "Welcome to the crew, Jack," she said, bowing and tipping her hat once again. "Melody, Rodney, give him the grand tour, will ya? Ingo, get Emerald and Sinbad, tell them to meet me up on the main deck. We sail with the tide."

Jack smiled and bowed back to her "Thank you captin you wont be dissapointed." he said excited. He looked over to Melody and Rodney waiting for them "Are we still up for a spar?" he asked Indigo kinda joing but also kinda serious. He was curious how well he would be but it didnt matter either way.

"That depends," replied Indigo, turning back to face Jack. She still held her tri-cornered hat in one hand, so her blue hair fell raggedly loose about her shoulders. "Do you think you can beat me? I held the boxing championship for three years running at my primary school."

Jack shrugged "Ehh probably not but what's the worse that could happen?" he said and thought about it "Don't answer that." he was starting to doubt himself but then remembering some of the brutes he's had to fight off made that go away "I wouldn't be a easy fight." he told her with a smile of confidence "I don't doubt you wont be either."
