Always loved kelpies as well and also Rottweilers tho idk if I’d ever get anything bigger than a collie, which is a shame cause some of the best dogs are the biggest ones

I am a HUUUUGE standard poodle gal! I am saving up to get one, but I have owned them all of my life and they are just “my” breed, if that makes sense. I was raised around them, and all of my “heart dogs” have been standard poodles! I got a divorce and had left my last one with my ex husband because I felt like he would have been so broken if I took her. But I can’t wait to own one again!

I love huskies. Such pretty dogs.

Also I have a catahoula leopard dog with heterochromia! He has one brown eye and one blue eye. He’s 8 years old and still acts like a puppy!

German Shepherd or Lagotto Romagnolo I have a Lagotto Romagnolo they are an Italian breed and very uncommon you should look them up! The link is a photo of what my dog looks like.

I love bearded collies (specifically farm beardies). I'm kinda biased since my dog is a beardie/Border Collie cross, but all the other beardies I've met are amazing. Not exactly the easiest to own (the barking, the fur), but my dog, Maple, is an amazing and smart dog.

I've also always wanted to have a greyhound. People always say that they would be so hard to own because of how much exercise they need, but really, content being couch potatoes.

Poodle and poodle mixes honestly.

I still love German Shepherds and similar breeds though.

We had one when I was too young to remember, but maybe it’s just in my blood.

Then I got a poodle that was supposed to be mine, and I learned to love her.

based on the dogs that I have met...

1.silken windhounds because owner bias lol
coursing and racing is the best 💅 here is Fable (high-white) coursing w/ Rocket (chincilla)!


2.clumber spaniels - I probably would have already gotten one if I was okay with slobber and the amount of shedding 😭 but I don't think I can handle all the drool and being covered in white hair 24/7

3.papillon or pomeranian - I'd eventually like to own one of these two breeds, they seem like fun dogs to do agility with!

as a dog groomer who's interacted with a lot of them, it's still Alaskan Malamutes because I own one lol but I've always had good luck interacting with and training what are typically considered stubborn dogs, so snow breeds are up my alley in general lol
