Prompt: My grandmother's favorite holiday tradition was trimming the tree - she had a huge collection of beautiful glass ornaments going back 40+ years, and every year when we vacationed in Maine, we'd stop in a shop called Christmas Magic and she'd add another to it. Every year, my family all drives from around the state to get together for Christmas, we always have a big-nice-dinner! But before the dinner- we need to see the food. Enter: the big italian market in the city. Everyone runs down there and its cold, and loud, and chaotic but we're together. We stand in big lines for hours to get the best cheese & meat we've had all year, munching on free samples and the occational tea/coffee (if someone feels like running to a nearby cafe). It sounds a bit miserable- but its Christmas to us.
