“Sonder” is one of my favorite words. It’s a philosophical term that is defined as “the realization that everyone around you has a life as vivid and complex as your own.” It’s a feeling I’ve been aware of since I was a child and only recently discovered the name for it.

I added the title “Lady” to make the username more sophisticated, and more individualized. With it, I feel like I’m taking the concept of “Sonder” as something to be honored by instead of something that makes me feel that much more distant from other people.

not sure how it popped in my head, but it did. ive been known as the_cloudykitten everywhere for years lol
