a very brief follow up on this ! i'm now down to 39 bwolves remaining. i've received a very generous gift from a dear friend for my birthday yesterday, and with that i have finally completed 2011 and 2023 !! extremely happy with the progress and i am hoping to tackle this dream of mine once and for all this year. <3

hello again collections thread!!! I challenged myself to complete a random species collection in one day and .... yeah I failed. BUT!! I did do it in two days!! Just chameleons but I had so much fun tracking all of these down : D

Ahhh! It's so exciting to see the progress everyone is making on their collections! Hopefully this year goes well for all of us c: This past advent has been an explosion for a lot of people It is really awesome to see!

I am almost fresh out of fodder, so I will probably try to spend the year rebuilding to prepare for the big bad storepets on my wishlist. Only 37 pets total! 33

My goal for this year... officially set by myself, but subject to change if something crazy happens, is to build up fodder (of course) for the next dec. 18 trading season, get the ur 09 dog, basilisk set, androids, lolita, pink punk, last two jackalopes and I mighttt be able to knock off some more Urs. We shall see c: It's a bit ambitious starting from the ground up again but hopefully it works out!

In terms of overall collections that we've focused on recently:
Butterfly wolves: Missing 5 (4 from 2023)
Horses: Missing 6 (all 2023/24)
Ponies: Missing 11 (8 from 2023)

Think the goal for this year is to complete 2023 missed outcomes/event pets, and to complete our BW/horse/pony collections. Then we'll start building up fodder for some of the bigger goals/URs and stores - used almost all of it last year to get our Skelebun!!

Ah feeling really discouraged. I have like so much to trade for (some) of what I'm missing - but I can never find anyone who has something I need that I also have something they want. Because usually those people are older members like myself who have either really large collections already or are focusing on their own goals of specific species etcetera.

So, I'm not really sure what to do. I've been spending a lot of time organizing my collections. I'm only missing around 162 pets which is crazy.

I'm not sure if I should focus on just trying to find the sneaky hidden old regular very rares or if I should try to pool what I have to trade for one of my dream pets.

And I'm having a bit of a conundrum - I recently traded for a Green Toxic recently - and was playing with the idea of trading it for the yellow toxic as it is a dream pet of mine. But I have never had a green toxic before now and I really like him, and I have a feeling I will regret it if I trade him. Because that is exactly what happened in the past when I did have a yellow toxic and it was the only thing I could offer for a UR bengal. I don't regret the trade at all - I love my UR bengal. I just miss my yellow toxic and feel like if I trade my green one I'll have history repeating itself xD

Searching for a Chestnut Arabian has been a bust, and I am no where near able to trade for an orange unless I trade some of my pets I would really like to keep.

I'm just kind of lost and don't know what part of my collection to focus on or put my efforts into.

but omg this number is legitimately insane to me, and I'm not sure how far I'm looking to go to finish any particular other goals at this point. maybe an "all non-list pets" goal? I'm trying to stockpile anything list-level for eventually (we hope) getting that dang skelebun back x_x

Eight bunnies to go! One is the Skelebun but it is an achievable goal and it's exciting! I'm down to 1.5 pages of wishlist pets too.

Anyone else think it's ridiculously hard to get any store pets without C$?

Trying my hardest to get all the store pets on here but I get really discouraged when I send a trade with 70+ pets (all on their Wish list) just for one pet and STILL get declined. I'm also lacking in rares except from 2023 because I took a long break and didn't come back until then.

I hope no one gets offended by this rant lol. That's honestly all this is. There's some players on here who are AWESOME and do trades like that, but I swear everyone is just so picky now lol. Much love to the site, again just ranting <3

coming here to share my highest achievement right now; i completed my first collection!

i started this waayy back when i was pretty new simply because it was my favorite lineart, and while it's a pretty small group of pets, it includes some in particular that have been hard to find, especially the dragon cat which i never really expected to get. feels surreal honestly, and i couldn't do it without my girlfriend who gifted me the last two kitties i needed

A few, like GH cats, staff pets, Drafties and snakes are ongoing (because they are still being released) but most are just certain litters I really enjoy
